@@peaolo I really wanted to learn Blender. I think I have it here (downloaded through steam), but the interface was so intimidating I felt quite lost. I guess I'll have to search for some online tutorials :) Thanks for the tip.
Gabriel Simoes in the last year Blender did a great jump in usability switching from 2.79 to 2.8x series: most of the tutorials out there refer to the old series, so make sure to watch up-to-date tuts. Oh, the official Blender channel on TH-cam host a sequence of tiny 2.8 videos for beginners (and for old users who did the switch), definitely suggested! Alternately I think Blender Guru did a refresh course....hope it helps ;-)

I love everything you do, and your videos are all so calming and comforting while remaining inspiring! I do think that this animation would be that extra 5% better if the highlights on the girl were animated a little to reflect the movement of the fire. Keep being so awesome!!
I like this video. Your voice, Olof, is excellent for narration. The multilayered compositing of the actual process video in itself is great attention holding work that demonstrates the process. Please keep creating more content with the attention to composition detail (Iknow it is extra work, but you seem to enjoy post production project building). I will try to adapt my animating tools in a similar workflow. I use Maya for the 3D and need to find the specific tools in there. And, of course now there is Blender with recent improvements, on the scene as well. The future of animation creativity will be tool agnostic quick cross platform adaptability skills for the animation creative.

PS what happens if you update the imported PSD file in AE? do you loose all your AE edits then?
Wow cool how you did the white water. After i saw your zombie car sequence, i thought you painted it by hand as well. But this trick is very cool!
PS you could also use the 3d scene from c4d in AE right and than make soft camera transition as well
PS how cool would this scene look with a big moon and a soft rim light on the character :)
