    Thank you Pastor for these sermons. They are so spot on answering my questions. You rock and I will be looking forward to viewing as many of these teachings that time permits. I too pray a lot in the Spirit for over 40 years and have questioned myself on the use of tongues out load in church or public. tonight you have put my mind at ease and I just can't thank you enough. May God's blessings be many upon you and your family. Gateway Christian Center, Cape Cod, MA

    I would love to hear pastor pauls view on the clear instruction that women should not teach in the church. How is that we believe the word of God and ignore other parts. It's very clear cut in the word.

    11:38
    This EXACT thing happen to me last Sunday at Church! I remember looking around and thinking "wait where is the interpreter?"
    And I went home that day feeling confused. So I came across 1 Corinthians 14: 27-28.
    Not sure if it was an honest mistake by the Pastor that day or if the Pastor and his teachings are not sound 🤔

    Many thanks for explaining the word here Pastor....I was always told that women should never teach or speak to the congregation...the words were obviously taken out of context.

  • @ninilovenana
    @ninilovenana 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I see three different tongues here:
    1. speaking quietly unto yourself for self edification.
    2. speaking aloud in a church with an interpreter is to edify the church body, but speaks a prophecy??
    3. and then there is tongues of pentecost that is spoken in other languages with others that understand it in their own nations language??

    Confused once you got to the women keep silence portion. Are you saying he said that for the Corinth church only and that does not apply to us??
    And if you are saying that wouldn’t that mean all of what he is saying was only for that church? Because that would not make sense if it all did not apply to us all even now

    • @stxawbexxy2150
      @stxawbexxy2150 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So The women in Church should stay silent part is basically back then (or actually even now) Jews were separated by gender. Women and Men were seated separately. The women would interrupt the sermon to ask their husbands a question from across the room while everyone is trying to learn. This is why they were asked to be quiet. They were interrupting the teacher, and yelling. Now the things that apply to us currently are the fact that as a Church, we need to be considerate and function in an orderly fashion. What doesn't really apply to us is the part where the women should stay silent part. We don't worship in a Synagogue, and we're not separated by gender at Church. Now do you worship in a Church (btw Churches and Synagogues are different) where you're separated by your gender? If yes then obviously nobody should be interrupting anybody in the middle of a sermon. I believe it's common sense these days not to yell out during a sermon. I hope you understand better.

    Great video, I just have one question. Verses 34-35. You only talking about women not asking questions in the church, which sounds like a addition to something else. Verse 35 starts with the word "And" so it seems to me that he means something else in verse 34. It talks about being submissive. Could it be referring to women preachers or being the head of the church? Or about being submissive in the church about speaking in tongues or prophesying?

    What about “ for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church” NIV ?? Did I miss that?

    • @thepuma77
      @thepuma77 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It seems to me that there was probably a person who was talking out of term. Maybe Paul didn't want to call someone out individually who was talking out of turn. Perhaps this person had adhd who kept on talking out loud while someone was preaching.

    Every church I have seen led by women has quickly turned Progressive/Socialist.

    I think verse 34 subject answer verse 35
    For it’s shame for women to speak in the church.
    Very clear he says for women in the church didn’t say for men and again verse 36$37 explain why.

    • @stxawbexxy2150
      @stxawbexxy2150 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He said so because the problem of that specific Church was that women were especially loud during the sermon. Back then women (and even now) women were seated separately. Now when that happened the women of that Church were basically yelling across the room to ask their husbands a question. This is why he specifically told them to be quiet. They were the ones causing havoc and acting in a DISorderly manner. The whole point of this Chapter was the fact that we need to act in an ORDERLY fashion. They weren't acting that way. That's why he said that.
