A lot of the off brand China cars aren’t bad. But the fact they give you a bag full of spare parts doesn’t give me confidence in its durability. 😂 I like these cars a lot. But I have buddies who have gone down these roads drawn in by the low initial purchase prices. Then things go wrong and none of our LHS have any parts support. I’m not gonna hate on it cause it is a nice looking rig. But just for me personally, I’ll stick with the name brands like traxxas and Arrma and Losi, etc. I’ve been in the hobby 40 years now. And even though the name brands are usually pricier, the parts support you get from your LHS gives me peace of mind. Awesome video and nice review. That’s a cool looking truck.
That rlaarlo cf Omni terminator made a believer out of me . For a little guy , it rips . Ot doesn’t do huge jumps , but it rips and has some pretty noteworthy handling imho . Don’t big jump it or the e clips under the shock pistons might break . That’s on almost full speed jumps but it can handle the 5’ high jumps and still have a great time with it
Its a nice truck, really good for the price. But if i were in your position, run the vehicle before any changes, then do some twicking so you feel the difference gradually as you do adjustments, and notice the difference as you make changes to the suspension.
@RCREVEALED good idea, , run stock first and keep improving as you notice things need improving. And I agree, we can't blame the car if we're going 100 ft jumps it will break any car.
Looking forward to hear what you'll do to tune the shocks. Also, most people says the truck only comes properly alive with 4S, but as you said, you might blow a tyre :D
@@MightyCalves oh yeah, looking forward to seeing what this thing can do I will definitely do a overall review on the truck. I appreciate you tuning in and watching the video.
The china brands get alot of hate, but to see the way they have grown over the last few years and the products they are putting out at the price points they are, man if your starting out in the hobby I'm envious, the options for entry level rigs is open season. Nice vid 👍🏻.
Their is a v2 version of this truck now, they have put right a number of problems their is with the original truck. You can buy an uprade kit to make the truck into a v2 version, this includes a new upgraded chassis + many other upgrade parts.
Sounds like you got gypped. He sold you the v1 that has all the issues, then MJX came out with the upgraded v2 very quickly. He just wanted to get rid of the v1. 😅 js. Update- I retract my statement if it IS the V2.😂
$200??? Never seen them that low, they range $275-$350 everywhere I look... not worth that price for me, the Bluetooth feature is cool for tuning. Their 1/14 line is where they shine in my opinion, tho the 1/16 scale models are the more popular

I love the omni terminator so far. Great truck for the price!

I agree, I took the shock off and felt the shock itself off the car and it wasn't to bad, so I put it back on and decided to run it stock.

Red cat is killing it this year .
Yes they are.
Definitely one of the better cheaper brands and I like how mjx moved to hex hardware looks pretty sick truck....and like the Bluetooth esc...
@@JmanRc yeah, they are definitely getting better in the RC world as time moves on. I see them making larger vehicles as well in the future.
@RCREVEALED I think they also have a big crawler to haven't seen to much about it but it does look big I think it's a 1/8 ....
@ nice, I’ll be looking into it for sure.
Nice review, and truck.
Thanks man, I appreciate it

You should get the hbx 2997a and the rlaarlo Omni terminator. In my opinion they are better 12th scale options.
I have the RLAARLO Omni Terminator, it is in the video.

What's the best place to find the V2 ?
What a nice monster truck in 1/10 scale for $200. 3 and or 4s wow that's cheap!

great vid bro. i want this truck bad but 450$ is too much for me.

If you went on MakerFire.com, they were selling for under $200 shipped to US, now they are out of stock. thanks for watching
They are 300
@@KeithMartinez-m3l yeah, they are 300 to $400 now. There were some websites that you could’ve got them for 200 bucks
10 scale comparison, put it next to a true model like a Tamiya Black foot. Boy do manufacturers like to expand true scale 😂😂😂
@@maxpaul11 oh yeah, all brands like to lie a little bit about the size of their cars
@@RCREVEALED but why?!?, I was so disappointed when I received my first Chinese 1/10
