Ironically, the Tales series has become a nest for every DLC practice ever since Graces f, even making you pay for what once were recurring elements like the swimsuits. In fact, Tales of Xillia 2 has implemented an in-game pay to win system with that debt thing Ludger has to pay in order to access to the actual plot of the game itself.
IKR? I still buy the games since the games themselves are still fun but I really miss costumes. Tales of the Abyss especially had some I liked like the red one you won from the arena fights.
Sure they added accessories which are free but they just aren't the same.
What I hate even more is most of the free costumes (especially in tales of Zestria) are just shitty recolors. Some of the recolors don't even look good dam it!!!! It's like they are trying to pretend they are still giving us a fair deal by making a fair few free when really all the good one still cost money.
And it's not just about the money. Costumes served as a great reward for some of the side events and mini games. It gave you what felt like a major reward to strive for and give a reason to do some of the annoying crap that takes ages to do.
At least Graces f still let you get the swim suits for free but the later games didn't even give you that much.
Luckily, among those ruins they found Splatoon.

Its made me bust out in laughter, then sadness and regret set in fast.
I laughed for a while, but then i remembered BoTW was delayed to 2017.

I just watched Mulan for what feels like the first time ever and as "A Girl Worth Fighting For" started playing all I could hear was this song. This parody was done so well that as I was listening to the original it felt more like a parody, this being the original. The lyrics you replaced fit so naturally. Weird Al would be proud. Even in some of his songs the lyrics feel a little contrived, but this didn't feel at all contrived.
I might be wrong here but the ending is not a dig at Nintendo. The group is singing about a game worth paying for and seem to all be disappointed and surprised that Nintendo is no longer there. Basically what they are going to find was lost by the time they get there. It took them too long to turn to Nintendo, who I will add has some of the highest rated games this gen that people aren't buying; NO not just "Nintendo fans", but 'GAMERS!'
Considering how popular it was to poke fun at Nintendo during the time of this videos release, I have my doubt that's what they intended, but at least it's still able to be applied to today with that sort thinking.
I'm not sure how their Wii U is doing today, but they certainly have a better exclusive line than the competition, so I'm hoping Nintendo can make it's comeback.

Honestly, does it really matter which console we argue over? The console that will win out is the one that attracts the most bros and sees more sales of the Call of Duty franchise. Sad to say it, but that's they way modern gaming has become as much as I want to rage and blow things up about it everyday.
Valve isn't only kicking, but thriving. Their Steam service on the PC is making them boatloads of cash, and they're going to release their own console called the Steam Box Piston (see what they did there?) that will run any game from that said service. Valve is probably about to take the gaming industry by storm, out of nowhere and without warning.

Sorry, but I highly doubt that. there are many reasons why, but 1 of them is the game is coming out on the 3DS as well which allot of people own. Heck my Brother is a Huge Fan of SSB, but he has no reason to go out and buy a WiiU for that game.

No Capcom. They are pretty much broke anyway so this in perfect for them. The WiiU sales are improving, and SSB isn't even out yet, so Nintendo isn't going anywhere for a long time. Even if the WiiU did tank one bad system or two wont sink Nintendo. Not as long as they have games like pokemon x & Y practically printing money.
You can't just use the regular controller on all Wii games.. Nintendo hardly puts out any good games anyway so I'm not gonna buy a Nintendo system so I can play 5 Nintendo exclusives and have two of them be games where I can't use a regular controller. They need to have the option to use a regular controller on ALL of their games or I'm not gonna waste my time.
Sega's not that bad of a publisher, It's that they never advertise anything that's good, like Anarchy Reigns. Then there's those people who are turned away from anything with Sega on it, who will probably turn away from Atlus games, since now Sega will have their hands in all the projects both companies are working for.
I payed $64.00 for GTA 5 today... That's way too fucking much for a game, even a good one. They want to kill the used game industry but if they just put a reasonable price on their games it wouldn't be a problem. Unless it's a really good game, I'm just gonna wait until the game shows up used at a local game shop rather than spending an assload of money.

At least the Tex Murphy games has me solving puzzles and looking for different endings where Gone Home just wants to tell a story with minor interactions. They should really come up with a genre name for games like Dear Esther.

Actually, the reason Nintendo was chosen as the logo was because as these people are singing about wanting a game worth buying and hating on Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo becomes the last company with games worth buying. I think it could be debated, the only reason people bought the original Wii was because of Brawl and Zelda. I know this because the only games I own for the Wii are Brawl, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. Regardless of whether people buy the Wii U or not, they are making mad money with Pokemon X/Y...
