- There's nothing more romantic than a date night in the milking parlor.
2nd cutting hay is ready, but the weather doesn't cooperate with our schedule, so we take another route and make silage bales using a bale wrapper.
Thanks for watching!

Two date night a week… that’s a win 👍💪🙏
Rhonda, gotta say that you are still the greatest dairy farm wife that can do it all. And you stay busy and look great doing it . Proves that hard work on a farm makes great Americans
Thank-you!
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us . Have a great day.😀✝️🤗
Great job you 2 thanks for your service too farming i will be watching ENJOY
Beautiful little calf
The couple that milks cows together, stays together. 😊
I just love the calves they are so cute. That hay wrapper is pretty cool.
Rhonda. Wow, a beautiful and great farmer's wife you are. Enjoy the videos, so keep them coming.
We will!
Thank you for what you do, In my county in central VA we only have one dairy farm left, and it has been mid 90's plus for over a month and no rain! Corn and hay fields are burt up, most farms are already feeding hay and buying hay!!
I said it hundreds of time amazing family
Thanks for your hard work keeping milk in the grocery stores!!
This is great getting to see the milking process!
Awesome love watching yall🎉
I check all the time for a new video Ronda, very informative, thank you for taking the time to show us !
God bless whatever woman invented the bale wrapper
Its always is amazing to me how the dairy cows know how too walk into the stall and get milked. Hard work you folks. Thank you❤
When dairy farms were smaller and all the cows came in the barn at once to be fed and milked, each cow had their stall and the would go to the right one every time. The cow herd had a boss cow and she was usually the first one to come in.
Milk for the first 37 years of my life in a small stall barn exactly what you're saying is right
God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
Great work Everyone👌👍🙏🙏😎
Thx for sharing
Learning something about the dairy business every video Rhonda !! Thank you and your precious family !!! Dad and I did a little beef raising many moons ago!!! You all be safe and God bless !!!! Eddy
Great video , we are Dairy farmers from Southern Ireland 🇮🇪 and it’s amazing to see how you milk your cows for the first milking and feed the calf and it’s almost exactly the same as we do , we also do most of our own field work and we bale and wrap with a mchale fusion .
You are sharing your daily chores with us. Thank you. The bottle fed calves are interesting to watch. I did not realize how persistent you have been with some calves. Everyone has a job to do at Acres of Clay.
Thanks for the video Rhonda! Lots of interesting things to learn - that bale wrapper is a great outfit for wetter hay. Good luck on your construction project - maybe you will find out why the boards are many different lengths - I'm sure it makes sense!! Have a great week! 😀
Great Job guys!
Great video as Always. It doesn’t get any more Real than this. Hard Work makes your Team a Success. Your Kids are Very Lucky to have such Great Role Models.🙏
Very good video as always. Quality looking Hay. Your friend from Virginia.❤
Good morning and great video Rhonda. Take care and have a blessed and safe day 🙏
Busy summer days on the dairy farm. Time for me to head out for the 3rd milking. Funny I watch dairy farming in between dairy farming 😊
Just came in from milking. 😄
Hope all goes well!
Green Acres of Clay, always good to see you and Kevin feeding American. Quit blaming the chicken tracker on McKenzie. You have probably built a baker's dozen in your lifetime. Come on girl, you're rocking those jeans. Build us a chicken coup, No boys, just you... As always God Bless
The extra rain you are getting sure has made the corn look nice.
Thank you for the video! We are out of town this week but miss our home in Michigan. Hear there is a storm coming. Be safe and can’t wait for the next video.
Mom you get those jeans from Mackenzie?😂 another great video thank for sharing enjoyed.
Wrapping bales makes good sense rather than starting a small bunk area for one field. Did you see where 10th Generation Dairymen has built 3 silos and is getting away from bunkers.? The purpose is for more automated feed system
Love how you guys work so well together. ❤
So, this is what Sunday morning church looks like for cows. They probably feel good after service. I love cows milk; God did a good work when he made it. I have been away from the farm a long time. I never seen a bail wrapper. You always do nice job filming. 🤔🤔🤔🤠🤠🤠🤠
I love that you guys take pride in your farm. Too many big dairys out there. 2 miles a farm is all ready milking 1600 cows and are preparing to add another 6500 head
You and husband look younger every time watch your videos 😊
Bravo Rhonda and Kevin your family keeping the main thing the main thing blessings from NZ
Thats a lot of plastic 😊
Rains may be ending here finally. First cutting still waiting 😮
Best hay is wrapped hay. Don't lose any leaves and doesn't take up shed space
good job!
I have not seen a wrapper in action. Very interesting.
That's pretty cool! I've not seen bales wrapped like that.
Truly amazing video, I love seeing the variety of content you have in your videos.
Another very interesting video Thank you
The little black kitten was really cute. Why did Mackenzie cut boards to various lengths???..... She was probably drunk on snacks. (Ha!Ha!)
Hi 👋🏽 Ronda and Kevin and the boys just finished watching video it’s awesome on Sunday afternoon and as always you all be safe and safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wrapping is interesting and i had to google it. I understand it ferments to a degree too. It said that 8 mil plastic is the best. This is cool. God bless guys.
It's been a pretty humid and damp summer here so far in the north east. I don't know if we're stuck in this weather pattern now or what but it seems like the last few years it's been slightly tropical around here makes it hard to make good hay or get anything done for that matter. Regardless though things are looking good over there in Michigan happy Sunday!
The mystery building still remains a mystery.
My youngest son and I just finished our first cutting. We'll have a second cut in a couple of months, hopefully we can get a decent amount. My wife and I made our chicken run out of cattle panels, we do have a few smaller chickens that can fly out, most don't. There's a farmer about 6 miles or so down from my mom's place that uses a line wrapper, does round bales with his. Once again you've got some cute calves. Enjoyed watching, thanks and have a good evening!
How do you feed the wrapped bales? Thanks for farming and feeding our country. See you next Sunday
Man. That’s good looking hay. Cow candy.
Great looking hay
Hello Rhonda Always glad to get to see your Beautiful EYES and that's the luckiest man on earth to have a hard working woman like yourself I worked on a farm for 40 years and work is never done 🤠🍀👀
Good video
Thanks
Another great video!! Love the caves.
I really enjoy your videos
Thanks!!
Hi Ronda. I never knew that you wrapped the Square Bales. I’ve seen Round Bales that were wrapped but the video was so informative and was so interesting I guess because of all the great weather you are running out of room to store the bakes which is very good
All the Moon Moos look good and healthy. Keep up the great work
As always your good friend from Massachusetts Kenny Dean 😊
Love to have some of that alfalfa hay for mulching my garden
Yes! It's weed seed free. 😀
I enjoy watching watching you guys
Thanks!!
Always great videos
Thanks!
Once in while we get a crazy first calf heifer in beef cattle!
El ordeño, me imagino es una actividad diaria, que sumada a lo otros quehaceres de la granja, demandan más de 12 horas de trabajo cada día... Admirable labor! 🤔👏👍
Go get them 😊😊😊😊😊sr
So first time Moms have never been in the milking parlor/setup I suppose that could make them nervous.
we have been having problems making dry hay because of the rains we keep getting. my neighbor bought a new round baler and after making 3 bales the head feel off of it lol. so i got to help him with that. it was kinda interesting lol
I'm sure the owner appreciated your help!
how are cows cows doing in this heat?
That's some good looking alfalfa. Can you put whole bales in your vertical mixer?
Yes
Nice video
THANKS!
On the farm Channel Sonne Farms you might want to watch them milk a Black Angus cow who doesn't want to nurse her newborn using a special cage to hold the cow
Too much hay is a good problem to have. The corn behind the rows of wrapped hay is looking good. A couple of videos ago you showed one of Sander's bunnies that had escaped, did anyone ever catch it? We had at least 2 1/2 inches of rain this week and the rivers are all up, not severely though. I've got a 15 1/2 lb turkey in the oven roasting for Sunday dinner. Have a blessed week and stay safe.
Yes, I caught the bunny shortly after.
Date nite!
I see your boy's are active in the daily dairy process is McKenzie part of it i don't see here much
Mackenzie only really helps when we need her to drive truck for us.
I don't know if I've ever heard this from you. On average what is your milks butter fat content. Is it an average milk or something more special? Thanks. Always enjoy your episodes.
Super vlog groetjes Jan 👍🇧🇪
It looks like wrap is overlapping too much but what do I know about but if it has to have that much to make the hay keep ....So be it
kevin since i got zeroed out the first time due to flooding. now like in the fall i plant winter baley for feed elevator in town west of me. man could believe price on winter barley so decided to order and prepay. is that a smart decision.?
Great video as usual, how do you stay so clean milking, plastic more expensive in Europe
can the cows handle the heat? I'm from Sweden here it's decent with the heat but too little rain.
😄
👋🏼😎
why do you wrap the bails? is it just for keeping it dry?
Also, it could protect the calf
From the mom from walking on the calf.
Yes!
Great video as always does Kevin like the 7495 we have one on the farm good tractor
How much milk do you produce, and who do you sell it to?
Just say it cows are a pain in the ass and I and you answered my question on the plastic
Just wondering why you keep cows with horns?
Who does y’all cows feet when they are walking with a limp
How are u sealing your bales they make a Styrofoam piece that goes on the ends
That's a WRAP!!!!!!
Do wet-wrapped bale lines blow methane out the ends?
Those bales don’t produce methane, when the animals eat the fodder then the gas is produced. Hope this helps
how many cows do you and kevin milk
How many cows do you milk
Please give me Agriculture work visa 🇵🇰❤❤❤❤
beautiful video brava family
😀👍👍👌
This alfalfa is not too dry for haylage.
