- I've been testing Feiyutech's new gimble with my sony fx3 and I must say.....this gimble is a gamechanger and I don't use that word lightly.
The tracking along with sony af allowed me to pull a great tracking shot with zero effort and planning. This is the kind of innovation we need in a stagnant market. Well done Feiyutech, you have my respect!

That one shot take that your son initiated is 🤯. I see the tracking is much better than my MT2. The hohem is not horrible but it’s no way it would’ve pulled that off and the app is pretty much useless for object tracking etc. Thank you for this awesome review.

I kept this unit and also bought the Arri rosette mount (from eBay).
When pairing this with my FX3 you get fantastic tracking and AF. Very useful combo

FeiyuTech sent me the AK4500 a few years back to review, it was a decent gimbal at the time but it seems like they've really stepped up their game! This looks like a great value. Excellent video!

Slide rail forward till hand is comfortable and then adjust other arms to balance it out. Plates too

Hi mate, I don't think it'll be this side of Christmas. We're 3d printing the the rough version as we speak but we won't show that one as it's just a test unit.

When you talk about a box like camera rig which has a Blackmagic Camera inside, can we place either a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K /6K Pro or even the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K inside the rig. I'm thinking about getting the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and you future rig out would be the bees knees for this setup!
@@stewartmoore hey, no it won't be possible with those cameras I'm afraid. We tried so hard to make the p6k into a box but and even though we had a final design and thought we had it sussed, we still kept running into many issues.
We didn't want to make a basic box just for the sake of it so we abandoned that camera for a new model which is a lot easier to work with whilst still getting the best from Blackmagic
How did you get the AI tracking so smooth ? Review vids ive seen it looks so sudden and choppy. Did you have alot to tweak in post ?
I always tweak the dead band on my gimbals....all of them Inc DJI.
I hate when I see jerky turns in people's footage. Tune the dead band and slow everything down.
You have the sport button mode to quickly press if you need to move fast.
I have a AR75 with a Ulanzi cage and a Tamron 20-40 im guessing the weight and the gap between the handle may be unworkable
My setup is similar so you may have to pull the camera back like me.
I use sigma 28-70 so that's probably close to your Tamron.

Jokes aside, this is a really cool piece of tech. The gesture feature is fascinating never thought of that, makes everything easier.

Haha yes we will have kettles with Ai soon. But yes agreed, it's a great little tool and not for just filming yourself.
I have a question brother,in portrait mode all the functions are available? Same as landscape mode ,some gimbals are not working,thank you
Hey, yes I know what you mean and that's another reason it's good to have 2 varitions of portrait mode. Moving your camera to the side arm allows you to still do all functions of the gimbal.
There are some third party arms for DJI that let you mount on the side arm for this very reason. 👍🏾

Hii, do you think Scorp 2 record button only works on camera? Because i try mine using my smartphone instead of camera the record button don't work on my smartphone and it's already connected to my smartphone Bluetooth, what do you think? It's there have solution for it?
I think the scorp 2 mini might have been designed specifically for that but technically it should work. I'm away at the moment so unfortunately I can't try it.
