I have sony a6700 and I bought this gimbal last week, Now I’m planning to buy between tamron 17-70 and sigma 18-50 Can this gimbal handle tamron 17-70 with my sony a6700 ?
Hopefully I may help you with my setup experience..I’ve got Sony ZV-E10 - 343 grams + Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 - 290 grams + Small Rig Cage - 75 grams + Small Rig Cold Shoe amount - 32 grams and Sennheiser MKE 400 setup, etc making a Total of 960 grams ..With all these it’s doing good for now without any issue so far…Brand claims up to 1200 grams..My setup is approx of 1000gms/ 1 Kilo..Hence you may not encounter any such issue..Now you guys calculate your setup and it’s weight for checking the pay load..😊
one thing i want to know about the Scorp Mini 2 before i buy it , is the Ai active tracking system can be controlled from the phone app ? like i want to track a non-human object , or i'm tracking a person during an interview, im not telling him to make a hand gesture, i just to need to mark his face on my phone screen or gimbal screen to track him. please let me know i'v watched a dozen videos on TH-cam , no one at all mentioned this point, they all talking about the hand gesture, which is great if I'm making vlogs, but most of the time gimbal users shooting other people not themselves.
I don't know, the AI works on its own it wasn't receiving a signal from the camera in my tests. You'd need to connect camera to gimbal but I don't know if it works like that
Please how do I fix it. My scrop mini is not charging I tried it with different charging cables its still not charging please I need help I just bought it just 3 weeks ago
Nice one thanks glad you enjoyed it. My latest video is something I'd rather not admit to but felt it important to share for others to learn from my mistakes 🙈
@@clevelandsfinestentertainment you'd need to attach the quick release plate from the gimbal to your cage as the plate is used to centre the camera for balancing
Does anyone know, whether it is compatible with the SAMSUNG S24 ULTRA ? Is it possible that it is not ? In the compatibility list on their site, it goes up to the S23... I can't believe it
@@MarkDuffyPhotography what do you think so? that is to say that you think that my camera is compatible with my canon eos 77D camera My camera is 540g that's it with this weight, is it compatible with the feiyutech scorp mini 2
I had the place to myself, then the minute I went to record a couple appeared beside me and ya dude wouldn't leave and then those gestures wouldn't work 😅🤣😅
Is the tracking really "AI Tracking'' or is this a buzz word to sell you products??? "AI" has the ability to learn or improve over time. This is just sensor that has tracking recognition. To my knowledge it does not get better at tracking on its own. Many cameras have have autofocus, with auto ASA and auto speed. Those are just as sophisticated, but no one is calling it "AI''.
Thanks for the review! Btw, am pretty sure that mystery rod is for attaching a follow focus to manual lenses
I've actually ended up using it this week as a counter weight
Can I use Dgi Action 5 Pro in this product?
Love the lightning in your studio, that blue reminds me of Mediterranean Sea
Thanks yeah I really like it too

I'm wondering the same thing. Hope someone responds to this question.
It will if it's an APSC lens

Your setup shall be 493 camera + 525 tampon = 1018 gms. Calculate the remaining and you shall get to know..

I've Sony A7S3 with Tamron 28-75mm lens. Is it compatible with Scorp Mini 2? Or, should I go with Scorp 2 or Scorp-C gimbal?
Yeah I'd go with the Scorp 2 as it would have the better payload capacity. That 28-75mm is possibly the best gimbal lens out there
@@MarkDuffyPhotography Sorry to ask this again...just to clarify, will Scorp-C not be able to balance my camera setup?
@ocsintimatestories I don't know, I haven't seen the spec of the Scorp C
@@MarkDuffyPhotography Alright, thank you so much for the info and also for your informative video 🙂
Does this product come with a warranty plz tell me?
Nice review!
Nice one thanks
How can i use my small rig cage that has arca with this
You'd need to use a light lens then
@MarkDuffyPhotography I was wondering how do I use it I don't see any way to use the arca mount on my cage with this gimbal
@@clevelandsfinestentertainment you'd need to attach the quick release plate from the gimbal to your cage as the plate is used to centre the camera for balancing
What’s the weight limit on this? I’ve got A7C ii with a 16-28 sigma.
1.2kg

And - is this product compatible with my Canon EOS 77D camera?
I'd say so, it goes by weight for balancing out the camera, is that what you mean?
@@MarkDuffyPhotography what do you think so?
that is to say that you think that my camera is compatible with my canon eos 77D camera

with this weight, is it compatible with the feiyutech scorp mini 2
does it change to portrait mode without the quick release plate adapter? with camera, in this case
Ah shit I totally forgot about that, yeah it does
Now if I saw you up at Flagstaff doing your power rangers moves, I'd walk away - lolololol

Hit the nail on the head with this yeah. Though it's pretty impressive it recognises the OK sign to start and stop the tracking
huh. deleted my comment. okay then...
I didn't delete it, I'm really too lazy for that
