Absolutely must is getting on a boat lighting a candle inside the lantern and putting it in the water at night. Absolutely loved seeing the nighttime boat ride. The other side of the river is we’re all the yummy street food and deserts are. I would stay there for maybe 2 nights. Yum Yum coconut cakes. Yum Yum banana cakes. Absolutely Outstanding From Start To Finish
If you have the chance go to the beach in Hoi An. Also try the local foods, cơm gà, cao lào, and all the delicious foods. Have a great time in Vietnam there’s so much food and places to explore.
Thanks for taking us into the back streets of Hoi An. Your right most vids just show around the river and bridges but its nice to get into the back streets. Hoi An does seem bigger than I thought as well. Keep up the great work. Max. Australia.
I must’ve just not understood Hoi An. We weren’t impressed. Felt very touristy. We loved Da Nang and Phu Quoc. Da Nang reminds me of San Diego but surrounded by mountains. Very few people use the beach during the day because they want to stay out of the sun. It makes it incredibly quiet during the day.
We have heard many good things about Da Nang. I’ve only ever heard good things about it. I can see how some people may not love Hoi An. It is touristy so not for everyone.
@@TeamSauceTravels Da Nang was great. We spent a little over 3 weeks this summer in Vietnam. Da Nang was probably our favorite place. Hanoi was nice as well. Ho Chi Minh was a little overwhelming for us. Too crowded and busy. Not sure how long your vacation is, but if time permits, Malaysia and Singapore are wonderful as well as Japan.
It is impolite if you wear something that cannot hide your thigh when entering a temple or pagoda You can ask for a cloth to hide your shorts( in many religious sites has that for free borrow to the tourists) or use your coat

How much do you have to pay for parking in the US ?
In Canada, parking a bicycle is free. We really didn’t mind paying for parking in Hoi An because it support the locals 😀

Thank you for the explanation. I figured it was something like that.
Over crowded tourist trap. Noisy and dangerous walking. More expensive than Danang
Is Dna nang the best or Tra Nanag?
We heard very good things of Da Nang, everyone seems to love it. Hoi An is very touristy but we thought it was great and it felt safe.
@@TeamSauceTravels How is public transportation in Da Nang? How does one get around as a tourist? Thanks in advance
@@Mongoose-ct6us we used Grab which is like Uber in North America. Easy with the app.
@@TeamSauceTravels Thanks so much
Goodluck
