43 med retired army , about to start welding and machinist school near reno in Jan and getting my 100% from the VA (bank those benefits lol) ... I'm off to the Philippines spring 2026, TRT/peptides (easier to get) , exercise and island life 8 moths a year... Have a small RV here in the states to visit family and snowboard/travel the other 4 months ... even if i worked on top of everything the Cost of living in the US is back breaking for the average veteran, the women are terrible in general and the medical care is sub standard.. best life time financially!

I used TRT in my late 40's to help me get my diet and exercise on track. I used it for 2 years and during that time I was also working 60-80 hour work weeks to stay on track financially. After that I went back to 40 hour work weeks and weaned myself off TRT as my #'s started naturally holding. From my experience, I believe it should only be used to repair, not to maintain an unnatural state. The men I know who have used it for much longer periods, they are more physically fit but appear to be more worn out. The trade off seems to be longevity

I think Macken is ultimately right. I don't disagree with Rollo's money, muscles and game by 38 example. The issue with the argument is what do those metrics actually look like? I keep hearing things like, if you put in the work, if you maximize potential, etc. For instance let's take 38 years old and take a similar approach to the build a man calculator: Money: Let's say we put the minimum at $100k. That's around the 77th percentile, top 23%. Muscle: Let's be generous and just set it at not overweight nor obese. That's roughly only 27.5% of 30-40 year old men from looking at CDC figures. Game: Tough to quantify, but for simplicity let's cut it down the middle at 50%, where we only count folks with above average social skills. .23 * .275 * .50. A bit over 3% of men without factoring in muscle tone, height, face, etc. Adding those would easily drop it to 1%. So Rollo is not wrong per say that if you are that top 1%-3% men, you'll thrive, but Macken still is right imo since most men won't hit that. Let me be clear, beyond women, try to be max out your situation, but understand what the numbers look like. I wish I would have given up trying to be jacked in my 20s. It’s too hard to sustain and women don’t really care about it like men do. I’ve gotten down to about 10% body fat, gotten completely rid of love handles, chiseled facial structure and I’ve gotten like 5 x attention from women at 175 lbs than I did being pretty jacked at 215 lbs and 18-20% body fat. It’s soo much easier to maintain too. Just don’t eat carbs and lift an hour a day 5 times a week.

I look about 15 years younger than my actual age, mainly because of inheriting that quality from my mother and steady weightlifting... plus the T probably helps also. But that still means I look like a guy in my 40's. As I've been getting older, the girls who look my way have been getting younger.

The reason they say 23 is not biological though. It's because that's about the youngest you can go without getting called a pedo. I've said before: Men and women both have peak SMV years, but those years come at different times in life. For women, it's 18-29 (presuming that the girl is decently attractive, takes care of herself, and doesn't have tats). I used TRT in my late 40's to help me get my diet and exercise on track. I used it for 2 years and during that time I was also working 60-80 hour work weeks to stay on track financially. After that I went back to 40 hour work weeks and weaned myself off TRT as my #'s started naturally holding. From my experience, I believe it should only be used to repair, not to maintain an unnatural state. The men I know who have used it for much longer periods, they are more physically fit but appear to be more worn out. The trade off seems to be longevity

Money: Let's say we put the minimum at $100k. That's around the 77th percentile, top 23%.
Muscle: Let's be generous and just set it at not overweight nor obese. That's roughly only 27.5% of 30-40 year old men from looking at CDC figures.
Game: Tough to quantify, but for simplicity let's cut it down the middle at 50%, where we only count folks with above average social skills.
.23 * .275 * .50. A bit over 3% of men without factoring in muscle tone, height, face, etc. Adding those would easily drop it to 1%. So Rollo is not wrong per say that if you are that top 1%-3% men, you'll thrive, but Macken still is right imo since most men won't hit that.
Let me be clear, beyond women, try to be max out your situation, but understand what the numbers look like. I wish I would have given up trying to be jacked in my 20s. It’s too hard to sustain and women don’t really care about it like men do. I’ve gotten down to about 10% body fat, gotten completely rid of love handles, chiseled facial structure and I’ve gotten like 5 x attention from women at 175 lbs than I did being pretty jacked at 215 lbs and 18-20% body fat. It’s soo much easier to maintain too. Just don’t eat carbs and lift an hour a day 5 times a week.
I'm 57 and been on TRT for a few years. I look about 15 years younger than my actual age, mainly because of inheriting that quality from my mother and steady weightlifting... plus the T probably helps also. But that still means I look like a guy in my 40's. As I've been getting older, the girls who look my way have been getting younger.
