I have Legend Intense, smelled the EDP and just ordered the EDP. I hit Macy's to take a sniff and loved it. Came home and ordered from Labelle for $50. The one spray lasted on my hand overnight. It's really good stuff and definitely a more refined scent. I like Legend Intense a bit more but for sheer lasting power and refined scent the EDP is better.

I would stick with the original. Maybe pick up Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce too because I feel it does a better job of what the edp is trying to do.

MONT Blanc Eau De Parfum sounds really classy the lavender & musk earthy woods
I just discovered this a few days ago and happen to like it. Just wanted to check a good review on it. I may go try it out again, to see if I really like it. I am a fan of Mont Blanc fragrances, like Legend and Legend Spirits. I'm not looking for something sweet, something a bit more mature.
That bottle looks super nice. Subdued class in my opinion. I have never owned the original, but it might be worth a sniff.
MONTBLANC is a very kind of elegant luxury brand. I have their pen to sign my signature 😂

I love the new bottle.
The original last longer on clothes ! On my skin will only get about 3-4 hours with 5 sprays. If i add 2 more sprays on my clothes it last about 5-7 hours
I'm looking to get Legend intense at some point, i really enjoyed it when I tested it. I'll look into giving this a sniff as well, not keen on the idea of fragrance testing with a mask ( they're mandatory in shops in the UK)
The music felt a little eery on this one i think it needs to be turned up a bit or taken out. I thought your doorbell was going off at one point.

How does this EDP compare to Percival?
Percival has more spice with the cinnamon and the mandarine makes fruity-sweet on the other hand Legend EdP has a darker sweet woodyness with the Oakmoss and Fir very noticeable as in the Original (Fierce).
You can say Legend EdP is the darkend variant of Fierce if A&F had made one, while Percival is the expansion of Fierce DNA with sweet-oriental spice and sweeter fruits.
Both are very strong, powerful and long lasting.
Sounds interesting, I love Legend EDT but the performance sucks, so this could be a better option for me!

@@alexg.9279 you mean Legend EDP? I got it few days after my comment and I have to say I'm not very impressed... it has good longevity but below average projection. And I kinda prefer the scent of the original Legend EDT over the EDP..
@@Stifmeister1 I mean the original as in the EDT and when I bought it I liked it bc the scent was masculine and unique compared to other big names. But when I purchased it I just felt it would not last long and I still bought it bc again it was really good in the opening. Now the projection is crap and the performance sux bolas, but the over all whole essence is unique. Blanc needs to reformulate the orig legend and add some roids LOL or something to make it last LONGER.
@@JoeyBallzMcBigMe False, its more like 3-4 hours with 4-5 sprays and that is why blanc has been close to my list of fragrances. A big fckn let down and there's way better ones out there.

There is no lavender in the EDP, according to the notes listed on Fragrantica, as you noted. I guess any lavender-like accord is built from other notes. What I like about the original EDT is that it has the classic fougere note backbone triad of lavender, coumarin and oak moss as defined by the genre prototype Fougere Royale! It even has geranium, which was in Fougere Royale. And of course the other fancy notes added, like pineapple, apple, dried fruits to give it a twist on the classic fougere.
Lol, fragrantica is most often very wrong with their notebreakdown which they simply make up but not check the official notes that on the brands website and retailers.
@@LA-st6dq Yea, true, but so what? They aren't always wrong. And brands more and more are publishing incomplete note listings.
@@JT-rx1eoits confusing people putting out some fake breakdowns, because some reviewers or people from the community actually believe what they are saying even though they either have a completely wrong breakdown or notes listed that aren't there officially. Now, if notes aren't officially listed by the brands in any way how can they just make up something add other notes or at all how do they come up with wrong breakdowns. Like, is it what they expect it to have or want it to be? 😄
Some brands may publish a incomplete list, but that doesn't mean they can make up something and ignore the official information.
Greatest and latest example is Eros Parfum, because of fragrantica a few are saying there's apple and mint but according to Versace (and every retailer) there's no Apple and Mint, some of the officials are Elemi, Black Pepper, Lavendar, Benzoin, Cashmeran and many more 😄
I would say MB Legend is definitely a Fierce clone. It's so similar. MB is known to copy other frags like Invictus, Santal, Aventus, Fierce, etc.
One would argue that Santal is a copy of Mont Blanc Individuel

I just tested this at a department store, sprayed it on my wrist. The opening was interesting. Within minutes, it went to smelling like stale older men's cologne from the 80s or 90s. It reminded me of my best friends dad and how he smelled when we were little. It gave me a headache. I almost blind bought a bottle and I'm so glad I didn't. How the hell is Legend so well liked?

INTENSE WAS GREAT
Mont Blanc Legend EDP is entirely masculine. Nothing feminine about this fragrance. Woody, dry, definitely not as sweet as the EDT (in fact, not sweet at all). Lasts about 8 hours. This is a generic scent, but I appreciate it for filling a gap in my collection. It's okay, nothing special, and will be worn on days I am not partaking in anything life-altering.
Question: Is anyone else getting a Dior Sauvage EDT vibe in the dry-down? Certainly not my favourite part of this frag.
