Damn, what a legendary concert. This has to be up there in the top 10 concerts of all time for quality, crowd participation, and general watchability.
And whoever was in charge of video and sound should win some award. It simply could not be any better, in literally every way. Such an achievement. All the camera angles, moving shots, and those dramatic ones with Angus on the walk, showing the sea of insane fans..... awesome.
The câmera work is fantástic indeed. People forget this, but If It wasnt for the direction they took we wouldnt get ALL that espctable, between crowd and the Band

I also feel like Brian's vocals are touched up with some studio bits made specifically for the occasion. If you look at amateur videos from the tour he doesn't sound as good.

everytime I see Malcolm Young in AC/DC videos, I feel a short moment of sadness, followed up with, knowing that this man was part of the greatest Rock Band of history and will along with his brother and other members be remember for the insane music they created together. RIP Malcolm Young!

I'm impressed by two things. First, how the guys can still do that as well as they do after all these years. Second, the number of young people in attendance. Looks like a lot of people who were born in the 90s were there.

In Argentina is not something strange that the young people enyoing the Rock and roll. The Rock here is something that pass from generation in generation. In the last Indio Solari's concert,(He is the most famous artist of the argentinian rock) in Olavarria, the audience was of grandparents, parents, and childrens. 3 generations. It was amazing.

I watch some of this concert every few months....the audience makes it...I want that angus tone. RIP malcolm. I love your guitar.
His brother and bandmate, Angus Young, carried his brother's beloved guitar into Malcolm's funeral services at St. Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, where the instrument was displayed. The guitar was then placed inside the coffin with Malcolm before he was finally laid to rest in a private burial service, per WROR.
I forgot I kinda have an AC/DC story...well..I think I was in HS..or just out...around '79 I think..I go to the San Diego Sports arena to see Ted Nugent who was hot at the time...the opening band is someone I never heard of...they played the loudest and heaviest rock show I ever heard..just relentless..and I am think..man..these guys are better than Ted Nugent...turns out the band was AC/DC.....by the time Ted came on my ears were a bit worn out...every song was killer.

I have only ever seen an audience like that at a Queen concert, the greats are the greats and thats it.
You are right. I'm not particularly a fan of acdc but I think everyone should experience a big rock gig at least once in their life. I am not sure that there is any band doing anything comparable to this now though. Pure unadulterated entertainment

Watching this concert compared to a United States show the River Plate people gave it 110% just like the band gave. Truly a monumental show! My buddy who was in Anthrax and a few other world touring band's said that Latin America and the UK always rock the hardest. So much passion and enthusiasm.

I first started going to concerts 50 years ago this year. I've seen some highly anticipated acts and I was jacked to be a part of it. That said, I have never, EVER, seen a crowd respond like this one. Their involvement and enthusiasm was RELENTLESS!. If you watch this and cannot get pumped, check to see if you still have a pulse.
It does not get better than this.

I know this is a concert featuring AC DC on stage. But this show was all about the crowd and the way they reached out and inspired every single viewer around the world since appearing on TH-cam with these videos. There's not enough that can be said about the people here and their energy. The camera should have focused for much longer segments on the crowd rather than just a split-second cutting away as they did throughout the entire concert. There were 65,000 people here. When AC DC played in Moscow before an enormous hoard of 1.6 million people, it did not compare with the energy, the rhythm, the soul, and the excitement that this crowd generated. I keep coming back to this series of videos of this show week after week, just for the inspiration and the sensation of watching, listening to, and enjoying every minute of the people. The world needs more of this energy, and often.

This is undoubtedly the best rock concert I've ever seen. So much energy all over the place, from the stage to all the audience present. I can watch this every day and never get bored!
I have this on DVD. Every Thanksgiving when our best man and best friend comes to visit we watch this cranked on the Bose and the 75"TV. It never gets old. Awesome concert.
Angus is not just a beast! Watching and listening to this performance, he must be superhuman! The whole group puts on the BEST show of any I've seen and heard. I may be old, but I've seen ALL the cool bands.

Dead right mate, I was fortunate to see AC/DC a number of times over here in Australia, the teenagers of today unfortunately do not have the privilege of feeling good rock n roll , I’m 53 and have made it a point to bring my now 11 year old son up on no frills hard rock because the music today will never poses the purity and honesty of what we just watched and he is richer for it.

@@AJMemes545 Brians voice on this tour was very different to the others he was more raspy and not as high as on the other tour(I think only a tiny bit lower,so still very high),at the time I thought it was because of his age or vocal damage but on the Rock or bust tour his voice was less raspy again which makes me wonder what happened on this tour. Still one of the greatest voncerts ever,though not as good as donigton in my opinion

I'll always kick my ass for missing the tour when it came by where I was living. Last chance to see Mal owning those rhythms. That crowd fecking OWNED the Vancouver crowd I was part of in 2015. It's amazing that Mal pulled it off. His brain wasting disease started to shwo up during the recording of the album and he was forgetting how to play stuff, his parts and shit, and many times where he was . Angus would have to help him re-learn stuff for gigs during this tour as it went on.

This is how I like to remember ACDC. I love the guys, but seeing them (who's left) on stage in 2024 makes me wish they'd have just gone out gracefully a while ago. It's nice that we have this concert from a more modern era with the original group and still in top form.
