Glad you enjoyed our little slice of MTB paradise. Reach out if you are back in town, there is so much to ride, and some great ways to link it together.
Awesome! Welcome to Canada. Great video. As a long time subscriber I just wanted to take a second to say that your video production and content are fantastic. Your format, personality, etc all rocks. Love the podcast too. Definitely my favourite mountain bike TH-cam channel. And do more 90 second reviews… they are great!
Thanks man, I appreciate that. Those 90 second reviews are weird. I really liked doing them and I have people tell me all the time that they really liked them but they also didn't get many views. It's so strange.
Looks like a ton of fun! And those pizzas at the end looked fantastic! I really like the narration on your videos. Makes it feel like I'm watching a documentary on the location. Great job!
Just on this video itself, I subscribed. Haven't been, but will soon. And thanks alot btw stayed up till 2am watching your videos 😂. Kudos on the climb to downiville 👌🎉 wow ! Beast mode 💪
Well my friend, let me tell you this...From the perspective of a guy that is sitting in Coimbra Portugal, exausted, after a day of tending to pacients, watching you ride those flow trails the way you did...your early confession:" I'm mostly into tech"...evaporates! I wish the camera was filming your face while you rode those because...I'm gonna bet you were riding with a smile the size of Kansas in your face! Great trails! Great riding! And as a good friend of my always says: All that really matters is the size of the smile on your face when the trail ends. Keep your videos comming, I'm really enjoying them. Best wishes all the way from Coimbra, Portugal!
I'm pretty sure I have to agree with you, 100%! Keep riding, keep safe. Oh, and by the way, it seems your fork might need a little "tlc" from what you tell us. In Whistler you're gonna find some of the best mechanics in the country, if you want to put your mind to rest.
I think of entrails as an access and warmup for the slab trails it leads to. Going right to boney elbows and room with a view at the flat spot where you would have turned left to continue on entrails is where the fun starts. There’s plenty of other sneaky lines on entrails to spice it up a bit more too. Get a guide next time you’re around and you’ll find the good stuff!
We knew we were right at the good stuff. Unfortunately we took way longer than we thought going through Entrails and needed to get back before it was too late to be able to get food and into our AirBnB. It really sucked to be so close to the goods and have to turn away.
Yeah, we like to hit both...for different reasons...lol. I do like Alice lake more and want to explore a lot more over there! But I only live a few hours away on Vancouver Island...so it's easy for me to get over there a few times a year.
I can understand the tech stuff at Alice Lake being a preference. If I had to pick I definitely would pick that too. But the speed at Diamond Head was just ludicrous so it was hard not to be fun.
Living in Langley I can confirm that we are so much more than the Whistler Bike Park! The trail network around Whistler is great - go past Whistler to Pemberton, gold! Squamish - go back! Hit In and Out (you missed it by 5 min!), but on the same hill: Highway to Hell, Hueso, and Dirk's Diggler. Feeling extra adventurous: Gouranga! Stay in Vancouver: North Shore (Cypress, Fromme and Seymour), Coquitlam (Eagle and Burke), and the Fraser Valley (Woodlot, Thornhill, Bear, Sumas, Vedder) all have great variety as well! And we also go south and enjoy Galbraith :)
If you like a good tech I'd say checking out North Shore in Vancouver is in order. Quite possibly the best (and most famous) tech trails anywhere. I love Squamish and go there regularly but for a good tech there's nothing like Fromme mountain if I'm being honest.
Oh no - gotta hit In & Out!! Next time! If you like Rupert, check out Leave of Absense too, and Angry M at Diamond Head. Entrails is tough / not may fave... but not sure there is another option
Getting cold where I am pgh of course this year I did not ride much due to my boss passing away now it’s my practice to run and it’s been overwhelming but it is getting better next summer I’ll be back to regular riding. Maybe a better year and something I want in the future.
In n out is way more intimidating in person and we ended up cutting out to the left since and around. Glad I did too because I didn’t scope out the full run and the end of the center run is pretty hairy. Rode Alice lake day one and only got to hit entrails and in out and we weren’t too impressed, entrails just couldn’t find a rhythm and got hung up on every rock and root. Room with a view (I think was the other we did) was fun but then in n out is worth checking out just to be amazed but the fun factor wasn’t the greatest. Really glad I went and did diamond head the next day as it doesn’t get any attention but that place is the coolest place ever. Planned on only hitting maybe a quick lap and heading back to camp but after hitting hybrid I had to go check out free the speedo and then yer mom, and then Nelson and then Fred, probably got the orders mix3d but basically couldn’t leave the place. Completely changed my opinion of Squamish. It does look like you found better trails in Alice lake then we did so maybe need to give that one a better look rather than just jump to the biggest options there.
Glad you got to experience a bunch of Squamish! Your editing is on-point man 🤘 This was a great watch.
Thanks man, that means a lot coming from you. 🤘
Glad you enjoyed our little slice of MTB paradise. Reach out if you are back in town, there is so much to ride, and some great ways to link it together.
Yeah, I need to come back and spend more time exploring!
we need trail builders like this in the states.
Tell me about it! Bellingham is pretty damn close though. But that might as well be Canada too. 😂
I've never riddden squamish, but after watching a ton of videos on the place it seems to me they've probably got the best trails in the world!!
It's pretty sick man. I might skip Sedona this year just to go there again. But those Famous Wings are always calling!
You've got such a chill narration style I enjoy it.
Thanks man!
Glad you had fun here. It’s always so cool to hear others perspective. Makes me feel pride in our little slice of awesome
I was stoked to be there for sure. Totally jealous if that's your local turf.
Awesome! Welcome to Canada.

@9:15…thimbleberries. They have ‘em around Lake Superior too. Mid-late August they get really tasty red berries, kind of similar to raspberries.
Interesting. Reminded me of a Maple leaf.
Just on this video itself, I subscribed. Haven't been, but will soon. And thanks alot btw stayed up till 2am watching your videos 😂. Kudos on the climb to downiville 👌🎉 wow ! Beast mode 💪
Right on man, stoked ya like the content. 🙌
Awesome ride! Great words of wisdom too.
Thanks man! Stoked you enjoyed it.
heck ya! I haven't been there for 5 years and this got me stoked to go back
I totally can't wait to go back!
Such an awesome video! "bad spot to stop" at the end was awesome lol
That made me laugh every time while I was editing. 😂😂😂
Looks amazing...
It is pretty incredible!
So glad you came out to Squamish! Hope you get a chance to try my neighbourhood’s North Shore trails too.
The North Shore is on the list for sure!
Great riding man! Love those little victories that boost confidence.
Come over to vancouver island and ride mt prevost and do some dh shuttle laps.
That sounds like a good time 🙌
Another Banger! 🤙
Glad you enjoyed it!

There's no way to ride trails like that without a huge smile on your face!

Loved this. I was like, "did I just watch FPV B1ker video where he's throwing little jibs and tweaks on jumps?!" I miss you, buddy!
Hahahahaha, glad ya liked it man. Would be fun to get together again sometime!
Looks soooo good. Love all the rock tech
I definitely left there kicking myself in the butt for not going sooner.
Make sure to come over to Vancouver Island on your next trip. The Cumberland trail network is amazing
So much awesome riding up there.
Damn looks amazing! Looks like u had a great time.. bucket list for sure!
You gotta get out there!
Looks like a blast
Was awesome!

I was in Bellingham right before this and that's more than likely my next trip. A few days there and then back to Squamish.
@@B1KER Check out the North Shore of Vancouver as well. It's the spiritual home of mountain biking and in my opinion the best trails in BC.

Great advice. North Shore is definitely on the list.
Yes! I wanna go
Me too!!! Editing this made me miss it!
Oh no - gotta hit In & Out!! Next time!
If you like Rupert, check out Leave of Absense too, and Angry M at Diamond Head.
Entrails is tough / not may fave... but not sure there is another option
Definitely need to hit all the things!

We've all been there, man, keep your head up.
@@B1KER yeah I known him over 30 years. So it was hard grief just sucks. But I’ll be ok and back up
You are a PRO👍
Hahahaha! 🙌

The beginning of Entrails was a shitshow for me. But I really liked it once we started going down.
🤘🤘
🙌🙌
Check out the Sunshine Coast when you’re in BC next
Definitely on the list!
What month of the year did you go? Great video
It was the beginning of July.
You need to ride my 7 in golden
Sounds like a good plan!
best place on earth and i live 40 minutes away
That's awesome!!!
Dude, you only hit the tip of the iceberg…there are way more fabulous , exciting trails to ride! You need to come back and ride more!
You're telling me!!!
Come on over to the big island and play. Tzouhalem. Provost. Gordie lund...
That sounds fun!
@@B1KER Add Maple Mountain and Burnt Bridge to that list.
It’s a giggle fest ain’t it.
Definitely! Nothing but grins.
