For anyone watching this AFTER Final Shape's release. The build received multiple nerfs, but in my opinion, it's basically unchanged. Thread of warding was reduced to 5 seconds from 10, which does literally nothing to this build. thank you so much for this comment, i saw a few old videos like this one on this build and it looked super cool but i didnt know if it was still viable, ty man :)
Running Judgment of Kelgorath, Swordbreaker, and Tractor is the best setup I've personally run with this build. The glaive lets you keep all your melee stacks for boss/champion dps and also works great with keeping up banner of war and clearing hordes of ads. Crafting it with Close to Melee will also boost your glaive melee damage that stacks with burning fists after getting a kill with the shot, with the seasonal mods you could also build into it to debuff with ignition since its solar. Another good option is the titan exotic glaive for a quick shelter if you need it

I mean, not necessarily. While Navigator is great and can create grapple points out of nowhere, AFAIK so can tangles. If you run this build without Navigator, you can always try to create a tangle before damage phases. Not as easy, but hey, you gotta work with what you get. Also, the regular charged melee deals a shit ton of damage, and you have 3 charges and a crazy amount of melee regen thanks to Into the Fray as long as you have Woven Mail. One two punch buffs melee damage, where as boss spec buffs the weapon's damage. So I'd rather go with either a swap mod or free hand because even though boss spec technically is increasing your shot damage from your shotgun, it's better to increase the handling to allow for faster swapping
Proper armor focusing makes it dead easy. Don't pick Resilience for your ghost mod. You pick the SECONDARY attribute you want for your build from the bottom 3 stats (Discipline, Intellect....dont take intellect, or strength) - and then focus your engrams for high stat armors. RNG is always going to net you Res/Recovery on your armor, so you're hoping to hit a good roll on res + your secondary attribute choice, with the rest of the stats spreading nicely. One full Coil run can net you like 12-16 Wish engrams making armor focusing for builds quick and easy. Like, so easy enough focusing 2-4 times for head/chest/legs/gloves pretty much guarantees you a 2x100 stat build. Then with a bit more fine tuning/focusing, you can probably manage that 2x100 stat with almost all minor mods. If you can't do full coil runs easy/efficiently, just farming Dreaming City chests will net you tons of wish engrams.
3 stacks is more than enough for most things. 3 stacks is also the same as synthos, so they can be better in certain circumstances and also buff your super, which wormgods doesn't.

This build can be a pain to get going in a group. With teammates using Sunshots and crazy grenade builds they can wipe out ads before you get in melee range. It can leave you in the middle of a room with your pants down.
Exactly my point this isn't the best build in destiny. If your running tractor and you have a void hunter on your team then you become useless because this is a melee based build. What in the hell am I gonna do with this in raids? I've never done a raid and if I do than this will be the only build I use in raids. But how do you get the grapple point and still have your grapple charged the damage phases
Navigator trace rifle
Bungie WILL do something to this build, my guess is they will disable one two punch functionality with grapple.
I'd hope that they do a more creative nerf, but that most likely would be the easiest.
they did that for all shoulder charges but nope grapple made it past the nerfs❤️
Great video. Subbed not scrubbed.
Is this pre or post nerf
they didn't nerf this....
is there a substitute for the navigator..
not really. tangles are grapple points but good luck getting them to stay. a strand hunter maybe
Question fam does boss spec stack w 1-2 punch??? 🫡 or can I run free hand or the swap perk
One two punch buffs melee damage, where as boss spec buffs the weapon's damage. So I'd rather go with either a swap mod or free hand because even though boss spec technically is increasing your shot damage from your shotgun, it's better to increase the handling to allow for faster swapping
@@KodiakD2 thank u
what if i can’t get navigator to drop 😔
I'm a bit late, but a tangle will also act as a grapple point. If you can spawn one before damage you can use it as a shorter lasting grapple point
what shaders are u using
Green
How do you get your resilience to 90 so you only need 1 plus 10
All your armor pieces need to have high resilience at base.
Did they nerf this in the final shape?
Yes but it still shreds and is prolly the strongest build other than maybe the nighthawk hunter thing
@@willp4623 thanks mate gonna give this a try later then.
good ideas
does it matter what other armors and legs or mark if u have the exotic?
Good video. I just thought I had it on x2 speed. You talk so fast 😂😂😂😂
Ooooh tractor cannon instead of Monte, I didnt think of that
does burning fist need to be maxed out for high damage or no?
3 stacks is more than enough for most things. 3 stacks is also the same as synthos, so they can be better in certain circumstances and also buff your super, which wormgods doesn't.
When can I get ikelos shogun again?
It's during seraphs shield exotic mission
So... without navigator, I can't use this build?
it's still the best without navigator. build the same. he has gameplay in this vid without navigator....
You don't necessarily need navigator it's just a lot harder:
1: use charged melee on an ad
2:DONT pick up the tangle
3:use that as grapple point
4: have fun
(Note you can't use your grapple melee as fast when using this as you don't get the enhanced grapple point from navigator but is still works, hope this helps!!!!)
How does he keep his grapple recharged
If you grapple to a grapple point - like the one he's creating with the Navigator - you keep your grapple. Any Strand tangle is a free grapple point.
How many minute grapple point stay in air ? Can i shoot grapple point and change weapon before start encounter?
15 seconds, and gets refreshed every time you use it.
Grapple points have a 15 second duration, but it's refreshed everytime you grapple to it
@@KodiakD2 i drop and finished catalyst but i have problem use grapple point. How can i understand i aim right spot for dps ?
What if you don’t have navigator?
I do not have navigator either but I found that you can kill an ad and that will make a tangle that you will not pick up and use that as your grapple point (note: this will make it so you have to wait to see the new melee symbol on your melee bar as it takes a second with tangles) hope this helps!!!
The one problem i have with this build is the hot swapping, that is ussally what kills me in high end contend, what is the damage without tractor cannon?
Without tractor cannon you lose that 30% debuff.
hot swapping isn't necessary, especially if it kills you. you have like 450+% damage in sources, so 30% from tractor isn't gonna be the end.
Another best build kek
Can this 1 phase kali in last wish?
1 phase anything, especially if you have multiple people doing it.
Now if we only didn't need MNK to do it... yay.
skill issue...🤡🤡🤡
It works on console or controller in general it just might feel or look slower then on PC but it still works
Did they nerf it? 😢😅
Blah blahi got this with arc and liars handshake and trespasser.
lmao, no banner of war. no infinite grapples that do 450k each....🤡🤡🤡
Tried this on first boss of duality feel like i need to do better getting my burning fists up before dps
I think you mean....This is the BEST PVE Build in Destiny 2
🤡🤡🤡
Cons: spend 20$ for navigator and spend 2 months trying to get it
doesn't take 2 months to lfg the final boss less than 30 times. maybe 4-6 hours...

Guy is there a place where I can practice the grapple shotgun thing ?😂
yup go into a strike and get smacking
I'm on console, so more like luke-warm swapping. 😢
I feel you man (yes I know I'm like 6 months late)
Damn, you take so little time in the air to activate grapple melee. I just can’t make it work that way. 😢
the navigator tangle point activates the melee faster than a regular grapple.
what is his helmet ??? 12:45
It's from crotas end
This build can be a pain to get going in a group. With teammates using Sunshots and crazy grenade builds they can wipe out ads before you get in melee range. It can leave you in the middle of a room with your pants down.
Exactly my point this isn't the best build in destiny. If your running tractor and you have a void hunter on your team then you become useless because this is a melee based build. What in the hell am I gonna do with this in raids? I've never done a raid and if I do than this will be the only build I use in raids. I'm not a raider at all so I don't understand why people praise this build. I base my strand titan build off of Aztecross's personal strand one two punch build. In fact all go as far and say he founded this build.
I say Aztecross founded the strand one two punch because everyone was clowning on the crotas end shotgun. Now it's the best shotgun for one two punch builds.
@@Zero-rj6re lmao, what? this build 1 phases everything, even in raids.... run something other than tractor if you have a hunter and still be the highest damage in the group...🤡🤡🤡
How do I get worm god?
It's a random exotic drop so good luck it's has been dropping hella frequently for me though bruv but I still use solar Titan and synthoceps so I don't bother with it mate
Mate, all you have to do is open exotic engrams and it will drop. Also, if you don't like the roll you got, you can do Legendary Lost Sectors (arm day)
It's a random exotic drop, best way is to farm legendary lost sectors when they drop gauntlets(at least once a week on a 4 day rotation). The exotic drops will prioritize exotics you don't have so it might take a number of runs, but you are garunteed to eventually get it
and if you don't have the navigator?
