As alway's a lovely inspiring video! My late father had a large garden and would grow a lot of wallflowers. I seem to remember him growing them from bare root plants, but he did grow an enormous variety of flowers and vegetables from seed. He really loved his garden. Unfortunately I only have a small garden, but do have a perennial wallflower 'Bowles Mauve' in a pot, which I purchased from a garden centre. 😊
@marilyneves8856 Your wallflower must be very pretty and I bet your father's garden was a paradise. In Corfu yellow wallflowers grow on the outside of the massive stone wall in town at the gardens, over the sea, in March .
Hi Annette, I really hope the seeds germinate for you. I grew a couple of varieties One was called Scarlet Bedder and the other was My Fair Lady Mixed. I grew some and gave them to a friend with an allotment. I got a bit mixed up, but the ones I had in my garden were red with fiery orange. I think they were from the mix. I had a problem in that I was struggling to find places to plant them out. My garden isn't easy to tend so I try to grow most things in pots, and I am always short of big pots. I have some that are still in cell trays actually so I will try to do something with them. You have a nice selection, and those large ones are going to be glorious. Thanks for the video. XX
My dames rocket did not do anything this year during winter sowing but luckily I still have some so I will try again. I don't think that I have seen wallflower seeds but will look.
Hi, just discovered your channel on TH-cam. I have found it very interesting and informative. Can you tell me if my wallflower seed pods self pop/split or do I do it myself? Thank you in advance. 💚💚💚
Hi Annette, what a beautiful blouse you are wearing!
Thank you!
Thanks for your video Annette, good to see you have nice wether in the UK, we have had rain all day. Love these sweet Rockets and wall flowers.
Thanks! 😊. Yes it's been fairly decent weather for the last week but now I have to water the plants! 🤣
@@cottoverdi this year I had only to water the new plants i heve put in the ground ;-)
I love wild sweet Rocket and so do the caterpillars 😂
yes, unfortunately they do munch them but that's why I grow more than I need...safety in numbers 🤣
Dame’s Rocket grows wild here and is considered an invasive. It’s so lovely and I enjoy it every spring!! Take care 😊
Oh wow! I've never seen it wild here but it probably does grow somewhere. Must be beautiful in large drifts 😁

@@youlamatouThank you for your kind words. The yellow wallflowers must look really beautiful in Corfu!
Bowles Mauve is wonderful. Such a long lasting flower in the garden the colour is so pretty. 😊
Many thanks for all the information. Would you tell me where you buy the individual seed trays please. Thank you.
Hi Susan, these are the trays I'm currently using and I love them! amzn.to/4bKb3oM
I cleared out my little seed propagator house yesterday, ready to try wall flowers and sweet William. I might add some sweet rocket now.
Wonderful Sue. hope you have great success 😁

Thanks Jimmy. Sounds like the My Fair Lady mix is wonderfully bright and colourful - just what we all need in the sping. 😁

Hi Jennifer, I really don't know - I've never collected seeds from wallflowers before. Sorry I can't be more help. 😕
Ok. Thank you for replying. I've ordered a packet of wallflower seeds just in case. 😊
