Dude Kasak’s run at NCAA for third is a way he made himself memorable for all time for Penn State whether he knows it or not. It’s easy to be forgotten about in the history books when you’re surrounded by greatness but he left no doubt that he won’t be forgotten because of what he did.
The thing about the Kasak run is number one, it was awesome and deserved. Number two, at least two of those guys he prob loses to if it was the winners bracket. He was motivated but a couple studs mailed it in once the prospect of becoming a champion was gone…

@@scourge8097in dudes defense it did seem like ridge gave up, but u have to beat what’s in front of you and he did that and good for him can’t ask more of a backup true freshman up a weight. IMO he was most outstanding wrestler of the tourney outside of champions.

I feel like we're at the point where we're just waiting for PSU to put SIX NCAA wrestlers atop the podium in March. They have such an embarrassment of riches, and though I believe DT will get OKST there in a couple years, it feels like it's PSU's world and we're all just living in it!!!

Levi is also PROJECTED at 174 if anything. As everyone said, it’s best if he redshirts. If Mesenbrink goes 157 I really won’t care. Just think that’d be incredibly stupid since again that’s essentially a free title. Plus they have Tyler kasak who can go 157 as well. So honestly redshirting Levi might be the smarter choice allows him to fill out for 174
I think it’s pretty safe to say that Penn State will finish in the Top 25 this season. (Who knows, with a few huge breaks, maybe even break into the Top 24. 😏)
I mean I don’t know why you think it’s unrealistic. If he does redshirt he gets time to fill out 174 and ALL the comp (Keegan O’Toole) clears out. Haines doesn’t want to redshirt tho so I don’t think he will.
