update: I got mine and it was extremely easy and had a very easy healing process. 20min procedure, no pain even after the local anaesthetic wore off (other than the normal discomfort of having a small cut). If you're reading this, you've got this

Yes -- the health worker can remove the contraceptive implant at any point and your fertility will return.

The implant can cause weight gain in some people who use it. But this doesn’t happen to everybody -- many people use the implant without gaining weight.
Everyone’s body is different, so contraception affects everyone a little differently. But birth control shouldn’t cause problems in your everyday life - it’s there to help you. If you have birth control weight gain and it bothers you, or notice other side effects that you don’t like, talk with your health care provider. They may be able to help you find another type of birth control that works better for you.

I don't believe so. The V shape makes the insertion easier by using just one entry and exit point for the rods.
But, ultimately, the contraceptive effect will be the same -- whether they are side by side, for example, or in a V shape.

How does these arm implants help in contraception? Like what it actually does? How does it prevent pregnancy?

The rods slowly release a hormone called progesterone that prevents pregnancy -- by preventing the release of eggs from the ovaries (ovulation) and thickening cervical mucus (this blocks sperm from reaching an egg).

When you go off the implant, your body will eventually return to the way it was before you went on it. It can also take a few months for your period to go back to the cycle you had before you got the implant (but you can still get pregnant during this time).

you will first get a shot of local anesthesia -- that's a little uncomfortable, like a bee-sting. then the area will be numb so you won't feel the implant being inserted.
