Junior was one of my favorite characters easily. Every line Dominic Chianese delivers is powerful or hilarious, and I’m glad he was kept for the entire show, I expected him to die of old age like after Livia, early in the story. Junior has so many memorable lines. Kinda ironic too that he was an old man, yet still outlived most of the cast that has since then passed away. To our new boss, to a great actor!

I like his version, although it's very different from others that I've heard. The instrumental accompaniment, and the phrasing. But his neapolitan is perfectly good. He sings the words as they are written. I'm not sure why people avoid the second verse, the one with the visit to the priest/confessor, although I suppose it's a feature of our secular age. I like that verse, though--it emphasizes his despair, and the unremitting cruelty of the woman that he loves. Very well done.
I watched Sopranos starting from Season 4, and ending on season 3 (having obviously seen it several times before). But what I didn't plan for, is ending this superb series with Dominic Chianese singing this amazing song in that final scene in that series. Truly amazing. My favorite show.
