Spøttedears AJ I went back and rewatched that part because I didn't notice. I was too busy looking at his hands tbqh. But when I saw that, I got literal goosebumps

Rapping kind of is. I mean I only stumbled upon this precious gem of a video today and already I have every word and every beat down, what's difficult is coming up with the words, the melody of the language you're using, how to wield it like a sword and move people with a minute of spoken word poetry. Rapping is easy, being an artist is hard.
+Lumina The Adørable Little Kitty Cat But of course! I always struggle on the "I hope-a they choke on smoke 'cause I'm smokin' 'em out the basement" line in the actual song, but other than that I've got it down. Have you seen Josh's attempt? 😂
+Lumina The Adørable Little Kitty Cat Josh: "There'saninfestationinmymind'simagination, some-somethin' and a k- with a basement, NOT RAP." Tyler: "That's good!"
+HeyitsEilidh true but I'm talking about the character. Like the deep voice at the end, it's something that generally signifies Blurryface. And this is the earliest it was shown.
I feel like the lyrics "If I didn't know better / I'd guess you're all already dead / mindlessly walking around with a limp & a hunch / saying stuff like / you only live once / you've got one time to figure it out / one time to twist & one time to shout / one time to think & I say we start now" aren't talked about enough. I think what he's trying to say is: Tyler has always told us stay alive, and here he is saying that he understands your dark moments have come and run you over. he understands you are a product of so much hate / insecurity / fragility / tragedy, & he gets your pain is irreversible. he gets its hard for you to stay alive when you've been shot at so many times. but then he's saying you only live once; its time for you to rise above what has brought you down. you may be dead, but you are still here; you are a zombie, still walking around with a limp and a hunch despite all that has killed you. you still have the ability to live, SO STAY ALIVE.
I think that he is talking about the people that are so INTO the media, the trends,"bandwagons" I suppose. Now they, they cannot think on their own, they live in the media and the media feeds them. They wait on the media to spit something new out so they can gobble it up and consume it. So around when those lyrics / songs was out, "YOLO" was in, it was the trend around that time so those, "mindless" people were all about it at the time. Tyler is singing about how he sees them from an outside perspective.
I have to disagree here. I see it totally different. "zombies" are meant to represent being dead inside, existing, consuming but not being truly ALIVE. He calls them "mindless" for a reason - they don't think for themselves. They are usually teens and young adults especially, which he hints with "yolo" phrase. (car radio - "(...) and for us to think is to be alive".
Goner is older I think. In Tyler's single album "No Phun Intended" there's a song called "I'm a goner" with most of the lyrics of goner and less yelling.
@@jaydasmalls7467 this is wrong btw. Tyler released a video in 2012 that has the exact audio from what people say is NPI goner, and all things relating to goner, came up during or after 2012 so its definitely not from NPI

@@blackybro3128 I disagree (as someone who focuses overly much on his voice). This original arrangement has an elegance in its arrangement: the words begin with a rolling rhythm. Mitch Allen when Tyler digitaly makes his voice deeper in his songs it's supposed to represent ''blurryface'', his insecurities so it's kind of like a demon, his demon.
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabit." Is only a segment of Blurryface. Blurryface is the infestation in his mind that only he can see. He can explain to you who and what "Blurryface" is and you could only picture it, but not fully grasp it. Hence the blurry face. We all have a Blurryface inside that no one else can see. ***** I see I'am not the only one who understands the infinity behind each subjective experience. How things dealt with internally can only be expressed and thought about by others not attached to the experience. Thinking alone is not enough to fully understand what is being dealt with because there is an emotional and imaginative barrier between each vessel. A barrier that can only be felt within the person having the experience. At least in this current stage of evolution ;).
That last sentence has always somehow frightened me. A few people believe we used to communicate in that nature, but I have no place to even speculate. That would be something else though - to see the future stages of our evolution.
Lina S. This was long before the 4th album was thought of, its like a square and a rectangle. HeavyDirtySoul is this but this is not HeavyDirtySoul. But Blurryface was still around
Daytime comes around And I start chasing around nothing Getting up to do the same thing Just to do less and less I think of when I was little I thought I could be anything A dreamer; lost in a fantasy in my head, just to grow up to be living each day dead.
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit." What does that mean, that he runs from death? That he's afraid of death? Like a rabbit being chased by a dog?
Jorge P Or that death causes him to run faster and do things that he wouldn't otherwise do. I think that he's comparing himself to the rabbit. When chased by a dog, rabbits will do a lot to get away. I don't think that he means he's running from death, because in another song he basically says that death is inevitable. I think he's trying to personify his feeling of motivation caused by the idea of death- just as personified his insecurities into Blurryface- so that they might be easier to comprehend.
This was the start of Blurryface. As we all know, this poem ended up being the lyrics to 'heavydirtysoul', which is the first track of Blurryface. At the end of this video, we all hear Blurryface himself taking over. It all started here.
blurrykatie No, it started even earlier. With the first version of goner in 2007, then the one from 2012. In these verions you can hear the noose. It represents Tyler hanging himself. He gave up and let his depression win. Then in the 2015 goner Tyler wins and that's the whole story.
John Smith In the whole second verse, I think? When Tyler sings "Excuse us while we sing to the sky." is where it's most prominent, but it's easier to notice if you listen to it with headphones.
this still blows my mind that this entire verse (maybe even the whole song) was written during vessel. i think tyler already had blurryface planned because you can hear his voice at the end there he just planned so much ahead of time and i just love these guys wow
There's an infestation in my minds imagination I hope they choke on smoke, 'cause I'm smokin' 'em out the basement This is not rap this is not hip hop Just another attempt to make the voices stop Rapping to prove nothing just writing to prove something Yeah I wasn't the only one who was rushing to saying nothing This doesn't mean I lost my dream It's just right now I've got a really crazy mind to clean Know what I mean? No I didn't understand a thing you said If I didn't know better I'd guess you're all already dead Mindless zombies walking around with a limp and a hunch Saying stuff like "you only live once" Yeah once You got one time to figure it out One time to twist and one time to shout One time to think and I say we start now Because death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit
Ok the fact that blurryface came in at the end and they're at a bridge just scares me, anyone else? And also how Tyler kinda walked towards the edge of the bridge a bit at the end jfjdjsnv
the last line, the voice used for 'inspires a rabbit,' - yes, it's reminiscent of blurryface, but it also reminds me a lot of frank from donnie darko. i know tyler found inspiration in that movie (definitely worth a watch), but it also makes you wonder, i guess.
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit" What he meant by this is, a dog chases and tries to kill the rabbit. The rabbit then realizes that he doesn't want to die and keeps running. It's a sentence for those who have thoughts on suicide. But a kitchen sink to you is not a kitchen sink to me. But that's how comprehend it.
I feel like they had the whole story for blurryface planned out YEARS ago. Like in the goner video it talks about blurry face, yet that video was in 2013. And in this it's the begging of heavydirtysoul and it has the deep voice out the end which is supposed to be blurryface.
The line "...Death inspires me, like a dog inspires a rabbit." sends chills. Death is rapidly approaching with every second like it's chasing you, as a dog would chase a rabbit...I love this video
i love how even before hds was released he thought of those lyrics in the same rhythm. it makes me wonder how early hds was written relative to the rest of blurryface
The words he spoke are literally in Blurryface the album. The blurring and deepening of the voice is showcase Blurryface. This is amazing. Wow. Not only does his music link to one another but so does his poetry.
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit"
His face becomes blurry.

I found someone with my music taste!
i cant belive he thought of heavydirtysoul this long ago
+Horizon Gaming I know but like right in 2013
Same omg!
a lot of his lyrics are from his own album "no phun indented"
just listen to drown, just like yesterday and a few other songs i cant remember
+Lupie Jupie also blasphemy and trees
+Lupie Jupie Doesn't he also say something in "no pun intended" that's in anathema?
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit." What does that mean, that he runs from death? That he's afraid of death? Like a rabbit being chased by a dog?
Or death chase us just for fun. Dogs often chase things for fun atleast nowadays
True
Jorge P Or that death causes him to run faster and do things that he wouldn't otherwise do. I think that he's comparing himself to the rabbit. When chased by a dog, rabbits will do a lot to get away. I don't think that he means he's running from death, because in another song he basically says that death is inevitable. I think he's trying to personify his feeling of motivation caused by the idea of death- just as personified his insecurities into Blurryface- so that they might be easier to comprehend.
Yeah, that sounds logical as well. Only Tyler knows I guess haha
Erik Ponner smh dogs nowadays amirite. this generation of dogs is fucked . up .
I knew about this poem before Blurryface. (adjusts hipster glasses)
same. i always knew it would be a song, too. it just sounded like a song they'd eventually do- just like goner. *sips s'mores coffee from starbucks*
Internet Scroller Version 420 Me to like right when this came out and goner to so i was very happy that its in blurryface
Same.
Yeah same
I didn't
BLURRYFACE IS AT THE END
I'M SO HAPPY
Blurryface would be a bad thing so you definitely shouldn't be happy for that to be coming out..
Beastliness23 LEAVE
Explain?
When his voice gets distorted at the end it is similar to what happens during fairly local
Beastliness23 Sam Smith It's also some of the lyrics ot HeavyDirtySoul and some of Screen
0:34 Such sass when Tyler is like "Naw'mean?" XDD 😂
Just to lighten up the mood
"KAYNE SAVE MY KAYNE SAVE MY KAYNE SAVE MY HEAVY DUTY SPOONS"
OR
QUACAMOLE TOAST
OR
WHATEVER
"CAN YOU SHAVE
CAN YOU SHAVE MY
CAN YOU SHAVE MY HAIRY DIRTY BALLS"
more like "KANYE SAVE MY
FR E SH A VOCA D O"
im dying omg
after a 8 months of seeing this i still get emotional
:(
put it at speed 2 it sorta sounds like heavydirtysoul
DylanPickleGaming it is
Yvette Jimenez I mean if you put it at x2 it sounds like the actual song
IT IS U NUT
TRUEE
Nah, 1.5x is more like it. 2x is too fast
So now we all know what blurryface from england
His voice has so much emotion. I absolutely love this.
tyler could literally read the back of a cereal packet and it would be emotional and moving as heck
When he said 'know what i mean' I was just like 'OOH HE'S LOOKIN SASSY'
blurryface is in this. And he's also in screen
Where is he in screen?
John Smith he's in semi automatic too, he's the one that likes it when he makes people cry
John Smith In the whole second verse, I think? When Tyler sings "Excuse us while we sing to the sky." is where it's most prominent, but it's easier to notice if you listen to it with headphones.
He is in the screen
It's Tyler
John Smith At the end of the video, Tyler's voice deepens and his face blurs.
I AM NOT OKAYYYYYY!!! *cries in a corner while rocking back in forth smiling* I DONT KNOW HOW I FEEL THIS IS AMAZING
this is like HEAVYDIRTYSOUL without the music
Perspicacity
No heavydirtysoul is this with some music added
+Burkley Page ohhhhhh I like how you think
This is where the lyrics for HeavyDirtySoul came from.
fall away
it is not even fair how perfect he is
Casey Richardson what do you mean
am i the only one who got teary. i mean i dont get teary when i hear heavydirtysoul but the way he said it omfggg so beautifullll
I love that blurryface came out in 2015 and this is from 2013...God I wonder how many poems this man has written that we will never hear
The song Goner was another mini song he wrote way back when, too
LIGHTCLEANSOUL
I'm literally going to overthink this in the middle of the night now
PAHAHAHAHA 😂😂💀
more like lightcleancalculator or lightcleanlogic?
this still blows my mind that this entire verse (maybe even the whole song) was written during vessel. i think tyler already had blurryface planned because you can hear his voice at the end there he just planned so much ahead of time and i just love these guys wow
Admit it who found this song and then listened to it like 30 times
Me tbh
me
me
me
I've watched this a dozen times and after every replay I sit and ponder on it for a while before starting it over again.
I love this man with all my mind and my heart.
replay. replay. replay. replay.
I like your pfp
ikr
thats is how I learned to rap Heavydirtysoul
true xD
LITERALLY ME
There's an infestation in my minds imagination
I hope they choke on smoke, 'cause I'm smokin' 'em out the basement
This is not rap this is not hip hop
Just another attempt to make the voices stop
Rapping to prove nothing just writing to prove something
Yeah I wasn't the only one who was rushing to saying nothing
This doesn't mean I lost my dream
It's just right now I've got a really crazy mind to clean
Know what I mean?
No I didn't understand a thing you said
If I didn't know better I'd guess you're all already dead
Mindless zombies walking around with a limp and a hunch
Saying stuff like "you only live once"
Yeah once
You got one time to figure it out
One time to twist and one time to shout
One time to think and I say we start now
Because death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit
thank you
thanks

+Samantha White wrong
+Carson Williams ???
This is so deep, listening to the lyrics slowed down..
It's been confirmed; this will be on Blurryface.
Atomic Spaceman Where has that been confirmed? Do you have any sources on that?
Wyatt Rabon Jupp, here you go: www.radio1045.com/onair/off-the-air-wendy-rollins-36114/wanna-know-what-twenty-one-pilots-13531279
Hmmm, interesting. The more you know, right? Thanks for that new info! :)
Atomic Spaceman YOU WERE RIGHT OH SHIT
Brooke Sullivan HEAVYDIRTYSOUL YAAAS! The album tho👌
i wonder how many views are from people hitting replay to learn heavydirtysoul
i know right
dont even go there i still cant get it
HOW DID YOU KNOW
Ok the fact that blurryface came in at the end and they're at a bridge just scares me, anyone else? And also how Tyler kinda walked towards the edge of the bridge a bit at the end jfjdjsnv
This. Is. Gold.
frickin blurryface at the end man. that shit gives me shivers every time.
0:29 A beautifully plain Taxi Cab. Seriously though I love this so much 😍
Daaaang Tyler Joseph, felt that in my very soul
that last line always gets me
Same. Their music is so thought provoking and is full of so much poetic symbolism.
Just amazing. simply amazing.
the last line, the voice used for 'inspires a rabbit,' - yes, it's reminiscent of blurryface, but it also reminds me a lot of frank from donnie darko. i know tyler found inspiration in that movie (definitely worth a watch), but it also makes you wonder, i guess.
Watsky and Tyler have the greatest minds for poetry.
"Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit"
What he meant by this is, a dog chases and tries to kill the rabbit. The rabbit then realizes that he doesn't want to die and keeps running. It's a sentence for those who have thoughts on suicide. But a kitchen sink to you is not a kitchen sink to me. But that's how comprehend it.
Everyone else: *crying*
Me: *head banging and air guitar* CaN U SaVe mY HeAvYdIrTySoUl
this always manages to make me cry
TABITHA
TABITHA!
Same but I think it's because I'm thinking about the statistics of people jumping off of bridges?? (and other bridge jumping related things..?)
This guy is on another level compared to any other musician on the planet it's incredible. I've never heard anything better than him before
Tyler at 0:35 is like
"Knowwhatimean? 💅🏻💁♀️"
I feel like they had the whole story for blurryface planned out YEARS ago. Like in the goner video it talks about blurry face, yet that video was in 2013. And in this it's the begging of heavydirtysoul and it has the deep voice out the end which is supposed to be blurryface.
why is everything Tyler does or say so intense ? '-'
Because he's a

*_Heavy_*

Bootiful Twerking Marge beautiful
This video is too underrated.
These are already written down and in songs, on no phun intended album
The words he spoke are literally in Blurryface the album. The blurring and deepening of the voice is showcase Blurryface. This is amazing. Wow. Not only does his music link to one another but so does his poetry.
I love how they like released song lyrics before we even knew it was coming. I love how they just plan that.
What a guy lol
