a friend gifted me this exact model last week as a bday gift...and i absolutely adore it. the bluetooth features are nice additions and actually helpful. the bracelet is awesome as well...for me this watch is an absolute homerun by casio
Very nice looking watch, problem with the battery tho it has 1-1/2 to 2 years of battery life that's not very long the two best functions on it are the steps tracking and backlight, it's been billed as the best watch that Casio has made in two decades by some reviewers but i don't believe that one ,i like the a168 better still it's a nice watch tho
Casio states 2 years or 3 if you activate sleep mode. The watch syncs one time a day with your phone via bluetooth if you turn that on. Less bluetooth use, more battery life of course.
@@watchthis90 no only find my phone funtion, the watch pings the phone and a melody is played loudly on the phone so you can find it.. very nifty feature!
@@eugene8524 My phone was always in silent mode, and I switched off all my notifications when I was wearing smart watches, but the only thing was the incomong call I wanted to feel on my smartwatch. So this function would be nice, cause its more important then find my phone, and ser how many steps i take in one day.
Right, I ordered in the UK and got it delivery via a Forward shipping service. The EU release is set for first week September and didn’t want to wait that long ;) well noted 😅
My a168 survives everyday 15 min shower in the morning. I saw tests that the watch survive waterproof tests. I wonder this watch can do the same, as it is more delicate module.
You can do it by pressing and holding the Adjust button in the time screen and change the time that way or connect it via bluetooth and it will automatically set the right time based of your phone's time. It will even correct the time 4 times a day to the time set on your phone should there be any discrepancy.
@@Juupke Thanks for the info. Been dying to know when it'll come out. Love the look of the other classics featured here, but I have a bigger wrist size and they've always been far too small.
I can honestly say that the A168 is the winner for me. The strap of the ABL-100 is too much for me, the A168 is still in the elegant category. The A168 has a 7-year operating life compared to the 2-year operating life of the ABL. The backlight can be used perfectly for both. The indicator in the upper part of the ABL is completely useless. Step counting is the most pointless, most inaccurate way to measure activity in my opinion, and my phone also knows if I carry it with me. The only useful function is that you can find the phone with it, that's all the bluetooth connection makes sense. In terms of pricing, ABL is three times more expensive than A168. The A168 is also 10 grams lighter. The lesson from this is not that the ABL-100 is not good, but how good the A168 is! :)
@ yes, but it's not as accurate as an atomic clock or setting it to time.is. I don't understand why, but that's what I've experienced. Okay, it's within 1 second, but it's not pin-point.
@@watchthis90Well, i love the a-168 too. I just started buying Casios after discovering they still make them. Two A-168 and two ABL-100. I love them all. There will be more A-168s for sure. Price / quality is unbeatable.
Thats awesome but I dont understand this type of comments. What are you trying to say? I guess people who buy amazfit are a different kind compared to people who buy a casio to people who buy a rolex.

I love the ABL-100's bracelet
I hate it. Swapped it with the ine from my a158. Both watches look better now.
That amber colored backlight is the best choice.
@@watchthis90 agree its beautiful even under normal lighting is visible, no F91W shenanigans haha
Oh, nice, connected watch inside a traditional case! Kudos to Casio!
Thanks for the video, very well done unboxing, loved the wrist roll and comparison with the other models, love my a168 so will be buying one for sure.
Thanks! Enjoy yours when you get it its worth it!
I have all these three watches too! They're lovely!
Just imagine the same watches in bit bigger dial. Casio could not imagine from a long time.
The best size! I love it
Thanks for the comparison.
Thanks for the comment!
I'd love to try this watch. Where can I get it?

A168 is great but it is a dummy compared with this one
Fantastic watch, but plastic case and plastic “glass” is a no.
at that price its a given.
Exactly, it would be great if Casio could make a steel limited edition model with glass in the future.
That makes it light weight. Some like it more just like that.
What did you expect for that price?
You clowns are something else
Casio Steel Reisn is a no for me also
Should be solar powered. Don't mind the plastic/resin thingy.
Available on Amazon?
Battery life and water resistant meters ???
Are you blocked by google search?
Battery life 🙂?

What is the top indicator that goes from 0-100?
I gotta say I prefer the blue Illuminator to the orange one.
Found out?
@@nrrebrooutlaw4585 it’s the daily step goal tracker, from 0-100% how many have you reached from the goal that you set
0-100 could be used as seconds animation or a step goal tracker for the day.
Is the time on the clock synchronized with the phone via Bluetooth. ?
yes it is
Yes, 4 times per day
Bangladesh delivery system bro???
Same backlight as the A700?
It seems brighter to me

@Juupke Sadly, the UK store is out of stock already, first week of September feels so far away.. 😀 Gorgeous watch and great video, thumbs up 👍

Hey there, whats up?
Is there a manual, how do you set the correct time for this watch?

Does it have vibration?
lol no
Nice video! Where can these be ordered from?
I ordered mine via Casio UK and used a shipper/forwarder to get it to the EU. In September they will release the watch international.
@@Juupke Good to know, I will wait to that. Thank you!!
I just know this series after purchasing a168 😢
Can't find this watch in the U.S. yet. Anyone know where I can buy one?
The International release is planned for September 2024, The watch today is only available in Japan and the UK for some odd reason.

Should've copied Seiko and make a melody alarm watch with the possibility of putting notes to make your own song.
Available in india???
It was decided not to be released in India. Too advanced technology.

The A168 is very good, if it would have a countdown timer it would be the best!
Yeah ... for me personally a timer is a big deal
The bluetooth makes the most sense syncing the time of your phone so it is always accurate.

My Amazfit does everything and more and its rechargeable too but it lacks the brand ' Casio ' else it is far better at time keeping.
