This wasn’t the first introduction of the X-Men in the MCU. I believe it was the last episode of Ms Marvel, which I painfully watched, (the writing wasn’t the best and some scenes weren’t all that justified in my opinion) where they introduced the idea of mutants in the MCU. I’ll recap it here quick- Kamila is chatting with her friend in the last episode and he said he found something odd in her blood. She asks what and he replied, ‘a mutation.’ Now, at this point the wheels in my head are turning and it had almost clicked that it was mutants, but the annoying icing on the cake was the 90’s x-men theme song playing that felt like a punch in the face. Like I had to be spoon fed this information, which I already knew. Good video and critique, way to stay neutral throughout, or at least that’s how I interpreted it. That brings a lot of respect in my opinion. I just watched it today and am tempted to make a scene break down explaining just why it was so bad. A lot of it seemed to be either an early draft for the script, quick production or just feeding the Disney machine to potentially make money and get it out there to make the said money. Good video overall.
