Still watching, but wanted to comment that if I do win, I know a retired gentleman who has a broken and damaged Pepsi GMT that was damaged when he was hit by a car and almost died. I would choose to have his watch restored and you can give this one to someone else!

Thank you for sharing these videos. I recently started watch tinkering and buy misc. watches on ebay. But the most sophisticated task I have done so far is switching a dail, usually I just replace batteries. I have never torn into a movement so I find this stuff fascinating!

That is a beautiful watch! And, as usual, and very detailed and informative video.
The arbor possibly became disengaged when you were letting the power out of the mainspring. You might have gone a little past fully unpowered, and twisted the arbor out of engagement.

I have been a sub for about a year I guess.
I have loved Seiko for decades.
I have a 6m25 that I bought new and wore as a daily watch for decades.
Before that I had a Pepsi chronograph that I bought when I was in the Army in 1976.
I am a retired aerospace tool maker and inspector so I enjoy very technical videos.
    I like your style or I guess I wouldn't be a sub!
Here is wishing you well to 1M subs!

Great work, Adam! I knew you'd do this watch justice. I just finished restoring a 7009a movement, and I noticed the 7019a looks almost identical. The difference is more jewels and less plastic on the 7019a. Like i said over on Patreon, if I'm lucky enough to win this giveaway, I'm gonna have to take this off your hands. Such a beautiful piece with that sunburst dial and faceted crystal.

Holy moly! I was about to buy a similar watch but missed out . I do have a Actus case with the same crystal, but the back is missing. But also, I've promised my self to not pile up on old watches untill I've learned how to do basic service on my current Seiko 5 (7009-876A). But between the two, Id rather take this. I love the hands on this Actus, the look pretty close to the ones on my watch! Tho I have lume on mine. The lume looks great, but the glow is gone :)
Edit. You should show how you regulate a new Seiko!

As usual Adam, another great video, and I love that green dial, it’s amazing once you get it off the movement and take the hands off. Your channel is my go to when I’m trying to learn how to become a better watchmaker. Watching you service your watches, and listening to your commentary has not only taught me some of the ins and outs of repairing watches, but you’ve also been helping me to keep cool, especially when springs or tiny wheels go flying into the ether…I’ve learned to keep a small but very powerful magnet close by on my workbench (also known as the wife’s dining room table), and to take a step away when I find myself getting a little frustrated.
