My wife had a goofy moment the other day. There’s the skooma trader encounter that’s a wood elf and she pick pockets the guy to take his gold. She got caught and killed him. 3 days later in game, thugs come after her with the signer of the contract being “Wood Elf”.
I had one kinda like that, with Alva the vampire in Morthal. Tried to sneak into her house during the day while she's asleep and steal her journal without her noticing, but then she woke up partway through and I whacked her over the head with a stick 20 or 30 times and just walked out the front door, then immediately as I step outside some hired thugs come at me with a note from her telling them to teach me a lesson for stealing.
I had something similar, was doing a pacifist run ,went to northwatch to rescue the guy , used pacify and paralyze to get him out of there without killing anybody, next time I tp to winterhold I see 3 hired thugs, sneak and steal the contract name says northwatch interrogator
Sword in one hand, spell in the other is honestly the best way to play. It combines ranged and melee combat mechanics and makes the game a lot more fun.

9:31 Reminds me of the Paralyze spell. You can do horrible, awful, hilarious things to NPC's with it if you can time it right near ledges, off cliffs or into water
@@NpZZZit's an Expert-Level Alteration spell, and there's two versions; One is a single-hand single-target cast and the other is a wide charged AOE. I would run around with a sword and the Paralyze spell in the other hand and just go to town on everything. Paralyze bandits off their towers and watch them tumble down helplessly, use it on enemies charging at me over hills and watch as they sailed overhead like the Dukes Of hazard, do it next to steep ledges and watch them effortlessly remove themselves from my presence, freeze enemies mid-swing and watch them fall limply to the ground while I wail on them, or if you get lucky you can paralyze an NPC nearby other enemies that would attack them for you . . . And it's spammable. You can use it over and over again as long as Magicka permits. It's borderline broken, but certain enemies aren't affected by it, and nothing takes fall damage while under it's effect (unfortunately) so it's ok. Also makes 100% Pickpocketing chance when they're paralyzed, so thats nice too, though I was dumb and never used it for that.
