Yes! 😀 Take advantage of it!! Such a great thing - when my oldest was in 4th grade we did Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Rocky Mountain NP. Hopefully since we have one currently we will get back over to Rocky Mountain again this year (only 2 hours from our house). There are more great NP out there too that I can't wait to go and see. Hi, Ms.Holly, my family is going there nxt month with our 3 yrs old. I am kinda scared about the food options because he is on a soft diet. He only eats pasta for lunch and there is no options for that on the menus. Can we bring his own meal? Because it said on the website no outside food
We brought all our own food into Grand Canyon National Park no problem. Now you if you are referring to the actual restaurants there - that I do not know about as we did not eat at any of them while we were there. (That is odd that none of them offer pasta!) There is tons of picnic area there so you can most definitely bring your own food to Grand Canyon (and get food from different quick serve places where you can eat that food anywhere) - but if you want to eat at a sit down restaurant you might have to call and ask if you can bring in outside food. Sorry I don't have an exact answer. But I hope this helped some. May you guys have a great trip there - trusting it will be hassle free!! 😊
It is true you do have to be aware of some of the drop offs that they have on certain paths along the Canyon rim. Thankfully, though a lot of it is railed off with rock wall and some metal railings.
