Yes, you should be able to do a "save as" and change the file type to a PDF. That being done, the PDF version of the doc should have the same clickable working links that the origiWird doc has.

I need to turn back on the feature that automatically activates (creates) a hyperlink in a Word document. It's when it turns the letters blue and underlines it. Or it's when I copy and paste a URL and it's an active link. It used to work. Now it doesn't. HELP.

You can easily setup Word to NOT make underlined, blue hyperlinks whenever you type an email address or URL or any Internet link. Here is what to do (on a PC with Windows 10 or 11, and Word 365 or Word 2019):
1. Click FILE to get to the Backstage screen.
2. Click OPTIONS.
3. Click PROOFING on the left hand menu.
4. Click the AUTOCORRECT button.
5. Click AUTOFORMAT AS YOU TYPE.
6. Click to remove the checkmark for INTERNET AND NETWORK PATHS WITH HYPERLINKS.
7. Repeat Step 6 above on the AUTOFORMAT tab of the AUTOCORRECT dialog box.
8. Click OK twice (two boxes to close).
That should do it.

Hi SerenityWithin, I'd be glad to help, if I can. Without knowing more details, my first idea is that you might have to add the link to the document when it is open in Word software, outside of TH-cam. Then remove the old document from TH-cam and replace it with the modified document. But if that does not work, you can email with me at [e-mail].

Well, sure, that's true. If a working URL is copied from its address bar. Or if you type a correct URL into the document. Then it'll be a clickable live link.
