Hedge Trimming / until it BREAKS down !

Customer wanted me to cut back the overgrown hedge, even though it is in flower, as it is enroaching onto the public pathway.
Hedge trimmer also decides to break down on me !

Non mechanic here - but it seemed that the trimmer cut out when you had it up-side-down to trim under the shrub - was the fuel supply interrupted?

Yes it started out like that then gradually got worse over time. I put a new carburettor on it . That fixed it but now it has no power 😔

You could cut it harder back as a lighter trim every trim it will just get even wider and wider. A good hard cut back every time will keep it from getting out of control i do it for a living every day

Yes you are correct 💯. Customer didn't wanto see any brown . If it was up to me I'd hard cut it and start from small shrub again .
