I enjoy waling up in the morning, grabbing my coffee, sitting down & watching these vids 👏🏽 keep em coming!
D has nice, warm skin tones and doesn't throw off the white balance of the shades too much.
That is my favorite neutral look!
D for me. I also leave the wind protection on incase of a draft or anything else going straight into the mic when indoors. Great vid!👍
B and D both made his skin tone look the best IMO, D would be what I would choose
I really like C, more contrast. overall well balanced
Great choice!
D for me. My eye was instantly drawn to it. The others seem to add a green tint to the image, especially on the subject's shirt.
great set up
Glad you think so!
Love these videos thanks for the helpful information. Keep up the great work love the content!
thanks for sharing
I like A or C. But C is the winner.
Best BTS series on Sony FX6 on TH-cam. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🫡👏🙏🏻
B feels most natural
I think lut C looks best! I also use the phantom lut set for all of my project. It is the best I have found by far.
D looks best to me!
I liked B (but then again, they all looked fine).
Another great behind the scenes vlog. Small space setup.
Thank you Walter, look forward to your upcoming content!
D. Skin and sky look great.
Always my base look or even final look!
Doing the work with these breakdowns brother. 🔥
Matching camera kits are underrated! Love the setup
love your stuff man. Great job!
I always like watching your videos - jam-packed with information and never feel lengthy! I like B and D the best, but my initial gut reaction was D. I liked the more magenta feel versus A and C, which felt more green to me.
I appreciate the feedback and support! I want to people to learn, rather than be entertained. D is my go to choice, but I will say it is nice to hear why people choose a certain look.
great setup! love the look of the lut on D! keep it up
Good stuff man! I'm in the process of shooting a mini doc now and have been following your Rancher doc series. Its fun to see how you are approaching all the different scenes and doing so on the fly. That is how it has been for us not knowing where the school wants us to interview the teacher so we ended up trying to be prepared for whatever gets thrown are way. Thanks for sharing all of this!
My vote is on B.
B for me for sure, A and C has a bit of blue tint while D is a bit too warm for me. B is most the natural look.
Very nice... thank you. I'd choose "D"
Thanks for voting, D is my go to look!
Great vid, I did setup with 600x and light dome 150 this weekend as well. I like the "c" lut best.
Off the top of my head, I'd go with Lut C, it looks the most natural when in quad-splitscreen.
Other question: How about substituting the 600X Pro + Light Dome combination for a Amaran F22C in those tight spaces?
Such a helpful channel
Which LUT do I prefer? I prefer the one that matches the vision for the story.
Nice work as always bro
I liked B
B is a solid pick!
Liked D better on the wide, B on the tight.
I highly recommend Juan melara Sony to Alexa lut way better than phantom, I used phantom for months and when I first tried the Sony to Alexa from Juan I was super happy and so where other dps that I showed
All luts are great probably depending in the mood you want? But B and D are my favorite
At 7:35 I liked B the best. Which phantom lut was that?
Thanks for the video, Piotr. For this particular subject, I think LUT B looks best. Seems to have a bit more contrast in the face, while the other LUT's seem to have too little contrast. I think for this particular subject, more contrast is better than less contrast.
Great look! I almost always prefer simple soft dome setups. The B and D LUTS look nice and similar to me but could see myself using C. Not a fan of A? Keep cooking!
Question 😁 instead of the big rig, does a F21 or F22 not make more sense for the small space or would that not give you enough light. 🙏🏽
As a fellow one-man-bander, I have enjoyed many of your BTS videos. Don't take my word for it, do your own research, but shotguns like the 416 aren't great for interior dialogue, especially when used in a kitchen where there are lots of hard surfaces. A super or hyper cardioid condenser mic is the way to go. I know Senny has one that matches well with the 416. I have a modded Oktava MK 012 that sounds like a Neumann (at a fraction of the cost). Also, those wind stoppers do take a bunch off the high end... Not a biggie with a male subject, but noticeable with a woman. Check out some of Curtis Judd's videos on interior dialogue.
Keep on trucking and I will look forward to the next one.
As ever, great stuff Mr Mokry.
Really do like the False Colour testing, as well as the camera settings. To me, the breakdowns would be of less value without these two things, so very grateful that you are using this approach.
Incidentally, do. you use Auto Focus? Personally i'm not a fan. Appreciate It's a great option to have, but generally i try to avoid it. Do you have a view?
Am looking forward to the next one.
Nice! Do you think an Aputure 300x is sufficient light for interview videos? I’m in the process of investing in a new light and want to make sure I make a good choice. Thank you
What is the bubble around your boom mic haven't seen that before.
As a beginner, how do you deal with the changing outdoor lighting? I mean, if some clouds pas by, you will notice it right? Is the VND helping with this?
Thanks!
What is the windsock? Rycote?
so you dont consider this over exposing 2 stops? I have the phantom luts which do not over expose and they always come out WAY more grainy than when i do side by side shots with my +2 stops custom LUT.
The 2+ ETTL method was big in SLog2. I get my skintones right and stay in my Low/High base ISO.
how much Prep Time you use estimated to set up like that ? Great work man ! inspiring
Hi. Is there a specific reason for you to put the wide angle lens to the camera closer to interviewer (you) and put the narrower lens to the farther camera?
Personally I don't think there's necessarily a strict standard as far as the a-angle being tight and the b-angle being wide etc., I think it could just be a stylistic decision, basically as long as the focal lengths (and angles) are different enough (ie one tight and one wide), they could probably be interchangeable. *also depending on if one particular angle has more or less of the background you'd want to show then the other, which could also influence which focal length lens you put on the a and b cameras.
I was how I was taught by other DP's and it stuck.
@@PDMokry Thanks.
B
Did you use ND filters here? I have this thing with my ND’s that I feel they give a blue-ish tone. Maybe they’re not the best, but just wondering
If you see the close up on the settings you see the internal electronic ND set to 1/5. These are tuned to the sensor, so no shifts.
Hi :) I’m one man band from South Korea. Also I’m your big fan. Thanks for video, I watched all your videos. 😊
What instrument do you play best? Just kidding! Thanks so much for the support!
D lets you see into the blacks a little better.
B or A :P
So cool to see peoples picks!
"D"
My choice too!
