Waxhaw area is fantastic. I moved to the area back in 2005. It has grown a lot but the downtown has kept its small town feel. There's a new downtown park going in downtown.
Waxshaw NC is best education district in CLT NC far away from actual city in Charlotte NC like 35-40 mins w traffic city is for marriage couples not up beat area ALL OF CLT NC is growing not just Waxshaw NC best suburbs in CLT NC is Lake Norman NC (North of City) towns: Cornelius, Davison NC; Homes on the lake etc first two exits of Mooresville NC is nice too closer to 20mins away from the city w traffic 30mins (express lane passes is essential living in lake Norman) traffic gets congested 3-6pm daily Disclaimer grew up south of the city 2-3 exits from Waxshaw NC very rule area if that is your thing it’s cool Waxshaw is top 3 suburb in CLT NC 🥇Cornelius NC 🥈Davidson NC 🥉Waxshaw NC Honorable mentions 1. I did not honestly. I just commented because people keep moving to waxhaw wanting a small town however the population is growing a lot and it does not even really feel like a small town anymore
costco and sams are very far !! I know rest of the things are close by but thats the minus i see as i shop a lot at those places living in chicago. Its tough choice for me but i agree Waxhaw is beautiful
Hey Raj, Harrisburg is also a great area. I didn’t know they broke ground in the Farmington community yet. However their master plan looks great and I like the location being close to 485 and daily amenities.
