Holey Goat and Firebird Go West!! 3200 mile road trip to Duct tape Drags

- Pole Barn Garage and I head out West for some adventure and fun. See if we can have a trouble free (HAHA) 3200 mile road trip in two 50 year old cars. Follow us as we see the Grand Canyon, Petrified forest, a giant space rock and end with the Duct Tape Drags.

Ridiculous adventure, not without its difficulties, but it was fun!

That 305 sounds sexy though! I had an 87 Monte Carlo that sounded pretty good but I'm not a Chevy guy so i got rid of it at car craft car show. And that car looks soo straight and nice! Most are rotted out

You are correct. I was very pleased with the performance of the car. Overall a dirty carb and a coil failure is not bad. I believe if we changed the coil right off the bat we would not of had any issues.

LMBO 😂 right out of the gate throw JD under the bus putting license plate on saying it’s “almost legal “. The Intertashional bus looked pretty darn good! Too bad about the carb and spark issues. Did anyone do the 72 ounce steak challenge? I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many abandoned gas stations! I really need to hit a road trip and see some of those areas. I wish you could have had a better time at Duct Tape Drags and have a safe trip home!!! Can’t wait for more content. You’re doing great!!!

The track really needs to get their own tech guys for this event.. they can't have a duct tape drag, and not have duct taped cars. I understand safety but the stuff they failed them for was ridiculous.. those tech guys are the exact reason people are slowly not going to the tracks.. which really sucks because we are losing tracks left and right and we need them for sure❤ but that aside I'm glad you finally found the problem with the car and got it fixed 😊 and I'm glad the guys got to run down the track a few times since you guys and gal drove all that way 😊❤ grest content for sure

The paint is so thick on the Cadillac Ranch cars. I just carved my name and the date in the paint with my pocketknife. Figured it would last longer. The Holey Goat isn't so much a "car" as it is a container/vessel for a decent drivetrain and a place to sit and steer. Just part of its charm.
It was crazy seeing how much paint was built up on the cars there. Very simple but still very cool place to see
