    Have people noticed the Phil educational system like universities? Try coming late in your class and you'll be blotted out of the roster. I wonder why it's seemingly stereotyped that Fil are always late.

    Boxing and basketball, even billiards is part of filipino culture, pacquiac was just a recent addition to the filipino sports scene in the decade or so. With marrying foriegners, i grew up in subic bay and most girls who came here especially in the 80's, maybe your not born yet then, wanted to marry americans, then came the japayukis or entertainment girls in japan in the 90's, they all wanted to marry foriegeners, but now with social media most filipina girls wanted to marry foriegners for a better or worst life, nothing is certain, and clinging to these stereotypes is whats dragging filipinos down, dont you agree, alll knowing....

    Killing and eating dog is cruel and disgusting. But some people believe doing so give them good health as well as strength. SPCA saved many dogs bound for butchery in Korea. Animal activists make sure they could save many more of man's best friend. Historically, for thousands of years dogs have been faithful to their owners, even sacrificed to save them. Civilized Filipinos denounce this practice. Authorities also catch those doing this practice.. Please let us end this trend once and for all. Let's love them as part of the family. I'm pretty sure majority of Filipinos love them as pets, not as "meat" specially in Manila.😮‍💨

    I think Filipinos don't marry for a green card per se. Having said that, if you belong in the lower echelon of society and have dreams of living a better life than what they're currently living in (esp those who can't even have 3 meals a day), then having a relationship with a foreigner is a shortcut to that life. It's not that they don't love the person but they are more dictated by the head. Living abroad (or in the US for green card) is just an extra. It doesn't matter where they live as long as they can escape from the hell hole they may be living in I guess.

    Filipino time is more like esp. in party they just don’t want to be the first person to be there. 😂 marrying foriegner actually goes both, growing up seeing some men in the Philippines seems don’t have plan for their future not just one but a lot don’t want to work and still relying to their parents even they’re in their 40’s. If there’s someone who come on your way who’s willing to support and love you why not coconut…

    Jokoy is a commedian. If he makes fun of the "negative" side of Filipinos...what's wrong with that? The operative word is he is a "comedian". If his kind of comedy doesn't suit you then that's fine. You (she) doesn't have to listen to him. Just like there are comedians that I don't like. But I think the reason she doesn't find him funny is because of the generation gap 😅
    But it doesn't change the fact that he is a comedian and will push the bounderies.

    2. Retirement Plan - Definitely NO normally its what other foreign people think due to poverty but its more likely parents wanted them to make sure that his son/daugther wouldnt experience what they exp
    3. Eating dog this was normal before I think due to too cold or weather its more like easting rabbit

  • @RickyFurlow
    @RickyFurlow ปีที่แล้ว +1

    All true and it’s because of the poverty level, it’s not just in the Philippines but any third world country goes through these traits or situations.
    Now Jokoy I just love I must say, they are JOKES that most people (especially) Filipinos can relate too. The stereotype that Filipinos are cheerful and resilient was not brought up. This is also true and a well proven fact, we’ve gone through so much as a country and we are still here THRIVING more then ever and it’s because of those traits. We’ve adapted over and over again (and still is) that we look at the positive side (wheel of life). That goes out to every third world country as well. Financial inequality (Poverty)! Now that’s a stereotype that should be considerably discussed, solved or evened out. Sadly 😔 it will never happened, it’s also a source of PRIDE for some Countries.

    If these people think they know enough about everything about the Philippines, and if most Filipinos agree with their answers, THEN I AM NOT A FILIPINO, and so are everybody or most of the people coming from our region. But forget about that for just a moment, then imagine them or you being asked ONE LAST QUESTION;
    "Do all those questions answer TRUE for every single Filipino, if NOT then, percentage-wise, what do you think would be the difference between the "true", and the "false" answers?"
    But then again, do you think every Filipino would say or answer "true" only, or "false" only for all those questions, or do you think that it's going to be very hard to find ANYBODY that's either a "true" only or "false" only.
    I think this is a nonsense video, so shouldn't be worth making a reaction video to. And if most Filipinos disagree with this last statement, then my first statement is cemented further.
