Rayovac SE4W3C Sportsman Xtreme 3C 4-Watt LED Metal Flashlight

It uses a special type of lens that lacks the typical mirror type reflector. When I say optics, it is just a general term for someone who doesn't have an extensive knowledge on flashlights (99% of people buying this light). I am fully aware of the abilities of regulation, owning over 40 lights that utilize it. I couldn't conclude if this light was regulated, just that it gave a good performance with the power supply given. CPF has tested and can provided more technical data on this light.

It is unique enough that I have yet to see a similar one (at least in this price range). I own both a led lenser T7 and P5 (they zoom unlike the lens in this unit).....they are not at all similar. Most flashlight geeks will pass on this light, or won't pry too deeply into its specs. Its kinda absurd to be hypercritical of a $20 flashlight you can pick up at walmart. Most consumers that buy this light, will lack a PhD in Optics.....They just want it to turn on and illuminate stuff.
