      I think it depends, when I was in marching band it would always be miserable at first and then after like an hour I wouldn't have cramps anymore. However, the really heavy flow days where I was cramping so bad I could barely walk it definitely didn't help. Exercise helps mild cramps for me but not the bad ones, which is what I typically have

    I am 57 but I will NEVER forget my period pain. How I wish they had this when I was younger! My teachers would give me an open pass to the bathroom whenever I got my period, the pain was horrific! Later I found I had really bad endometriosis which wrapped around my appendix. when you have period cramps it is more helpful to warm your lower back because there are the arteries that supply the uterus with blood, which dilate with heat. often, cramps occur when the blood flow to the uterus is decreased. movement can also stimulate circulation.

    I initially had a negative reaction to the Wild deodorant. Really irritated my skin, thought my pits were bleeding! I stuck with it and after a couple weeks, I can use it with no problems. It also completely stops me from smelling! I apply quite a lot and kind massage it in all over the place which I think is key since it doesn't stop you from sweating, so you need to apply it in a larger area than traditional antiperspirants.

Wouldn’t recommend moving it around too much but if you’re able to nudge it upwards slightly it might help when you close it.

    Talking of severe period pain as someone who suffered from acute endometriosis try half a teaspoon of turmeric, sprinkle black pepper, quarter teaspoon of ginger and a spoonful of honey in a cup of warm milk. DON'T use painkillers whilst doing this especially aspirin or ibuprofen as it has a blood thinning effect but on it's own worked better for me than any painkiller and take it from me as someone whose pain was equal to childbirth. Hope this helps anyone suffering with period cramp, endometriosis or fibroids, as it REALLY helped and avoided me having to have an hysterectomy x

I wash my arm pits in the shower with soap, then use a body scrub and then once out of the shower I apply deodorant and it’s great!

    I was looking forward to seeing your review on the period cramp device because I have severe endometriosis and whilst waiting for urgent surgery I’m on paracetamol, a fentanyl patch, pregabalin AND extra morphine when it gets really bad 😩 I was hoping this might be some sort of miracle worker and I’m at the point now where I’m willing to try anything that will reduce the amount of medication I need, but your review has just saved me £90, so thank you!

    I bought something very similar for my daughter who just started her period..! Off Amazon. It’s the brand Yeamon reg price $50 but it’s usually on sale $30ish give or take. It has the heat settings of course but then more so vibration, it doesn’t expand like yours does. I thought it was loud too. But in our home it doesn’t matter. She hasn’t actually started yet while we’ve had it. But she just wears it for the heat. It’s nice it’s cordless & can just walk around or do whatever! I’m very curious once she starts because she did start pretty early poor hunny bunny… I don’t want to just be feeding her ibuprofen this young. I get the worse cramps too I have to take at least 800 mg of ibuprofen or something similar.

    Regarding the rattling of the CT highlighter.. I found this exact issue with the new brightening pressed powder too and it spins in the compact if you try to swipe the product. Contacted customer services and they said this is normal as it’s the refillable packaging 👀 they said to put a tiny bit of eyelash glue on the back of the pan to stop it if necessary..
    doesn’t stop me from using the product but it is incredibly annoying and not very user friendly considering the price 😳😳

    • @sophdoeslife
      @sophdoeslife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmm yeah you’d think they could make it a little more snug or put a little bit of glue there but not enough to stick it down permanently! 😢

    My fiancé got me the Maia for Christmas as well! So funny, I didn’t ask for it either but he got targeted ads and thought that it would be a nice thing to help with my period cramps and back pain. Anyway, I’m a big fan, I really like it. My cramps aren’t too bad but it’s also great for the back pain that I get when I’m on my period (or just any back pain I get like after work or standing/walking around for long periods of time).

    If you suffer with strong period cramps, I would suggest going to a doctor and asking about endometriosis.
    A lot of woman suffer for a long time before being diagnosed, and the earlier you are diagnosed, easier it is to treat.
    It’s amazing how common it is, and a lot of people still don’t know about it.

    If you haven’t been checked for endometriosis, you might want to. I had terrible period cramps my whole life. Last year I had an issue with my Fallopian tubes and had to have them removed. While they were in there, they found out I have endometriosis and they cut away a ton of scar tissue. Now I have VERY minimal pain and much easier periods.
