I don't 100% agree with him but it was very interesting to consider counter arguments against it. Thanks for the video!

This is not that hard. Museums lone shit out ALL. THE. TIME.
    1. Give back stolen items (only stolen… documented transactions obvi not returned)
    2. Do it nicely, and maybe they’ll lone you THEIR stuff in the future.
There. Now no one has to question the morality of going to a museum. Win. Win. Win.

Playing Devil's advocate here: The problem is that the definition of "stolen" is hazy. What is the difference between legitimate seizure of property by the winner of a war and what is simply stolen? Are banners and flags taken from defeated enemies "stolen"? When is something a legitimately purchased object? The Maori often sold tattooed heads to white sailors in exchange for weapons to fight internal wars. Are these illegal items? (albeit of questionable taste). The Parthenon Marbles have documented paperwork (albeit sketchy) but Greece disputes the legitimacy of the deal because it was made with the Ottomans, who were occupiers... but they'd been occupiers for almost 350 years (longer than places like Canada, USA and Austrlia have existed). How long does it take before an occupier is a legitimate ruler? The Koh-i-noor diamond was owned by several rulers before the British got it, and usually obtained by warfare, so who does it belong to?
