We used to catch Bluefish in the Chesapeake Bay, trolling w/ rubber tubes.... I didn't like their taste but catching them is fun!
Man, hard enough fishing off of a bridge but having to put your pole around pipes/sign posts was crazy dedication!! To get

What you call rubber is actually plastic.
Might be silicone too but I'm not gonna split hairs on a material that was being used when I was young(mid70's),
they called it "Rubber" tubes......lol, so that's how I remember it. But you knew what I meant & the mid-atlantic &

Its a very short season and it has a very small slot that you can keep when open
My grandfather used to say if bluefish got to be 40-50lbs you wouldnt be able to land them.
