To the point with no fluff. Love it!

In stead of "Sweep", you can use "Loft", this will give a much better result right away. Select one of the circles as "Profile 1" and the other as "Profile 2", then under "Guide Type" select the "Centerline" option and add the sketch path as your centerline. Now you don't have to worry about the termination area not cutting all the way through.

An added trick would be to make the hole perpendicular at each end, so that the diameter of each hole is the same (and each hole is round) on both planes where the hole exits the block. I suppose the path could be made straight for a few mm's as it enters the block.

Ahh, the the point plane!!! Definitely putting that one in the holster. Good one bud, thx.

Great tip plane through 3 points, I need to remember that one!

can you do a video on this common issue: what do I do when I suppress a seemingly isolated and unwanted feature, and most of the rest of the timeline onwards fades off and is suppressed too.

I would have expected the path to be perpendicular to the entry and exit faces? BTW I enjoy your content.

Great point! The original challenge was a 3d printed part and having the perpendicular exit would create other challenges with supports.

Hey Tyler, maybe you have an answer. I asked others as well, but received no answer so far. Maybe you could help? I have created several parametric assemblies. Now, I'm adding these assemblies to a new construction by combining different furniture pieces to form a complete room. However, I’m unsure how to access and adjust the parameters of each individual assembly. For example, I have a table assembly with a parameter for table length. I want to add this table to my room with a length of 2 meters. Then, I want to add the same table again, but with a length of only 1.5 meters. Currently, I copy my table assembly, "table2000," into a new construction, change the table length parameter from 2000 mm to 1500 mm, and save it as "table1500." Then I add the 2-meter table and the 1.5-meter table to the room construction. Is there an easier way to accomplish this, so I don’t need to create separate copies beforehand? Ideally, I would like to insert a single "table_parametric" assembly into the construction, adjust its length to 2 meters, add it to the room, and then add the same assembly again with a length parameter set to 1.5 meters. I hope my question is clear-English is not my first language.

I bet you will find that that cutout does not match that bottom hole perfectly.
