It definitely makes for a relaxing couple of hours. The locals aren't that bad really, but I've talked to a few that are kind of guarded with the place. I can understand not wanting people to show up and start tearing the place up. It's a very well maintained set of trails.
I just subscribed to your channel today, and have been enjoying your videos. My brother and I have been off-roading for around 3 years now, and I know he has watched some of your videos also. One question I have is what software do you use to build and edit your videos? I really like how you mix up the views, including the drone segments!
Hey, thanks for the kind words! I do all of my editing on a program called Power Director. It's not the most popular video editing program out there, but it's easy to learn. That's the primary reason why I use it. I'm able to accomplish what I want to do with it. If you want to get more hardcore with the video editing, Davinci Resolve is what a lot of creators use. Literally half the movies and TV shows that you watch were probably edited in Resolve.
@@DefiantOffroad Thanks; I'll look into Power Director! I have the free version of Davinci Resolve, TH-cam, and GoPro quick subscriptions, but this old brain can't seem to get the knack of it. FYI - I think my Brother Richard West may have contacted you in the last year or so regarding mods and equipment for his Bronco Sport Badlands...
I hear you. That's the main reason why I don't use resolve. There's a learning curve, and I've been able to do everything that I need to do pretty much with power director!
Home sweet home.
Made the trip yesterday and loved it. Very relaxing and tranquil. I did have to use 4H a couple of time in the sandy areas, but nothing too extreme.
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it!
I had no idea that this place existed. Those GPS coords are only 35 minutes away from me. I'm going to check it out tomorrow!
They keep it hush-hush. Have fun and let me know what you think of the place.
Beautiful wide open spaces! Hopefully the locals forgive you 😆

Think a pop up will fit back there?
I'm sure it'll fit, but there's only one place that you can camp. It's right on the side of Sandbanks Rd, at: 36.50177, -76.89590
Road closed to vehicles .
Foot traffic only June 23 2024
They'll open most of the trails up during deer season.
