Leather steering wheel restoration step by step:
1. Clean the leather
2. Sand it with 400-500 grit sanding pads
3. Degrease the surface with solvent cleaner
4. Dry the leather
5. Apply a couple of tiny coats of paint.

How long will this restoration last? You have any experience regarding its durability? Trying to figure out whether a restoration is worth it, or whether I should just ignore/replace.

If the process is done correctly, you should get 1-1,5 years in the case of a daily used car, so i think it is decent considering the quality of leather used these days in cars.

Great explainer, justt bought the kit from your website. How do I clean the wheel after? Are there any cleaners which will make the paint run?

For maintenance, I would use a gentle leather cleaner and a very soft brush, and of course, don't let it get too dirty. If the restoration process is done right, it will last for a while.

I have indents that look like cracks, but aren't actually cracks, at the top of the whhel, I suspect from Sun damage drying it out. How do you get rid of them before using your method?

You can get filler for leather , you can level any imperfections and then spray it

Nie, farba w zestawie zawiera utrwalacz, można go również dokupić do zastosowania po czyszczeniu kierownicy w dalszej eksploatacji, ale po samym odnowieniu kierownicy nie jest konieczne zastosowanie tego produktu.

I wouldn't use any paint except leather paint for this purpose, you can try but probably won't last for two long.
