"We just thought it was funny, because it was on them, not us. We were raised that way." This purity of spirit is why I love Jesse. It really doesn't take a genius with a sociology degree to figure out how to be a good person. Just be a good person. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's it! Yet... we struggle because we're all just so self-consumed. God help us!

I love that part too. It is so powerful to realize that someone harassing you is their problem, not yours.
The best way to shut down a bully is to laugh at their insults and deprive them of the reaction they are seeking.
Jesse is speaking Christ's wisdom here, hopefully people will listen to the message.

It's always amusing to witness those with the most affluent upbringings lecturing the rest of us about the supposed horrors of inequality. Someone needs to explain to these people that if twins raised in the same household will not have equal outcomes, then in no imaginary utopia could they expect anyone to. But who am I kidding? These outraged, chip on shoulder, lazy complainers would perish without their favourite excuses for failure

If you aren’t from the south, it’s kind of hard to fathom how white and black peoples actually get along down here. Race relations in the south is honestly much better than it is in many large dem cities

      This is true!
I’m from Chicago and I was told my whole life that the south was backwards and racist. Then a few years ago I started traveling to the south for my job. I was hesitant to go because I was convinced I was going to be discriminated against. Imagine my surprise when not only was it more integrated but people got along just fine and could even joke about their differences.
Ever time I come back from a trip I’m sad to come back to Chicago where this so called progressive city has only gotten worse.

my mom was a young white girl in Ky during jim crow and her maid was black. She'd walk from their part of town, clean and my mom would drive her home in their only car. No wonder this country is still so horribly divided. All we do is talk about race, as if only the white man could be racist when we know for a fact, we’re no different in that aspect. I see this every day from big media always trying to get people emotional over racial topics, race baiting and it’s sad. Nothing will ever get any better if we keep dividing white and black.

*I believe black Americans would be better off, however, we would be more racially divided still but at greater sociopolitical peace.* I think the current alternative is seemingly better, but time does matter because we may have ended up a half black and half white population.
*That means each side may have assaulted or protested the other using their restaurants, bathrooms, schools etc.*
Currently, black Americans coming from the bottom like myself are being told they are crippled by their ethnicity in America and it's white people's fault.
*I actually am crippled and have been since I was 10; groups like BLM offer me nothing and want to take what very little I have.*
Nobody speaks on behalf of the disabled living in poverty and denied by the government as well as everyone else, *even the doctors.*
    IDGAF about anyone else's complaints.
*Black people in the media protesting and rioting with the support of self loathing white people do not care about anyone but oneself.*

Post segregation has been a nightmare. White genocide is inevitable and blacks are allowed to commit violence on whites and won't be called racists. When the tables turn blacks will treat whites worse than Jim Crowe or even chattel slavery. Just look at south Africa. Boiling whites alive and ripping off their skin. I'm sorry I don't have any hatred in my heart for blacks as a people, but you don't have to look far to see the patterns.

@@NobleBruv the rich monsters on television already did away with their utensils and sharpened their teeth. *They will consume everyone and anyone including their own kind.*
The media race war is a distraction and it was used to get rid of Donald Trump. Now they've furthered it and the idiots are helping them usher in criminal global government.
*Americans should have stopped trusting famous people 30 years ago because the news built celebrity reporters and spokesmen and they furthered the celebrity status of congressmen and women.*
It's no mistake that only 10-15 members of congress get seen and heard year round in the media while the other hundreds and hundreds aren't known by name or face.
*These celebrity politicians function as lords running a feudalistic society and the media coupled with bureaucracies has given them obscene executive and judicial power they are not supposed to have.*

Idk I kinda agree with Jesse on the segregation stuff that it was going to go away anyways . Looking back to my country's history Dominican Republic ( Which is where slavery in America really started) there was no revolution against slave masters or Colonizers . Slavery just kinda dissolved. There was some type of abolition or w.e but it was something small which they barely even mention in history class in DR. Slave masters just kinda started leaving other slaves in charge of plantations and other slaves etc.. etc.. until eventually slaves themselves had the control.
