I love this plane because my father flew it many years ago when he was a pilot in the Mexican air force. They were the first to arrive in Mexico. I am very proud of my father.
I am a massive Stearman fan and honestly this is a really good rendition. I can deal with the textures not being Carenado level. Honestly, if we can get a really good soundpack for this bird I think it would take it to a whole new level. The GAS Stearman has a lot of potential.
I wax nostalgic when i see these. A simpler time when a cockpit radio was added as an afterthought.
Last real one I saw was a few yes back at KRNT. With solid audio in VR, this will be both gorgeous and immersive in MSFS.
I saw your GAS videos of this aircraft. You couldn’t hide your voice. I knew you right away. I caught a ride in one of these a few years back. The pilot even loaned me a leather flying cap, goggles , a leather jacket, and even a silk scarf. He did some tight turns. We took off from a grass strip in Galesburg, Illinois at the annual Stearman fly in which has been held there for decades in Early August. People fly in from the US, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. On Thursday of that week they fly into my hometown grass strip in Geneseo, Illinois. They come for lunch,some aerobatics, and showing off their aircraft. I get lots of great pictures there. Thanks for another fine review!
I wasn't attempting to hide my voice :D They asked me to make a video for them to 'showcase' the aircaft and the're a good bunch of guys so I did :D

I do hope Golden Age converts their Redhook Rhinebeck Aerodrome for MSFS. Such a great scenery.
I like the Stearmen despite textures ? I just love the older biplanes, my favourite place is Compton Abbas ORBX. I will buy this as soon as it's on the market. I fly mainly VR recently, so I hope it looks good in VR ? Many thanks for presentation.
Compton Abbas is already available by Burning Blue Designs, it's very good.
My stomach got queasy watching the aerobatics.
Nice one! Bit of left rudder when the left wing is coming over the top(right handed roll), right rudder when right wing is coming over the top and a bit of forward elevator when inverted to get a cleaner looking roll. ;) All to not let the nose fall too much during the roll. It's counterintuïtive, but once you get it, it's awsome and somehow gets ingraved in your hands/feet. Same as for crosscontrol (sidewind) landings. Lol.. the more you know.. you've become good at flying helicopters as well, you'll nail this eventually ;)

It mostly needs updated textures in some places and needs better sounds as well as a working radio. but it's nice to see them giving MSFS a second chance after all the gunfire they received from the sportwing.
The radio works very well but was demonstrated
When streamer twotonemurphy reviewed it the transponder wasn't textured not a major issue but they should fix that.@@Spad1954
It’s technically still prerelease. It’s only out early on SOH
Don't know how long it will be prerelease but I'm hoping it will give them time to scale down the cylinder bolts on the engine as well as make the little signs readable and fix the tail wheel boot etc.@@AvAngel

You have changed airport, no more Orcas Island! Is it UK? I was waiting for this aircraft since long time. Hope it will be ok. Where can be purchaised? I have not seen it yet.

Arguably no... pure visuals... yes, but that's it.
Yeah no, only better visually. And especially their garbage rendition of a Concorde it's hard to want to support anything they make anyway.
