Nice video! At 12:21, how can I sort based on category vs quantitative number? I'm trying to create a marketing pipeline to show the $$$ each touchpoint generated along the journey.
Hi Megha Narang, video Very useful ! . I practiced , but The calculation contains errors when I created calculated : WINDOW_SUM(SUM([Respondents (%)])/2) ( Erors string % ). Help me!
@@MeghaNarang thank you! Question, sometimes when I publish a dashboard to tableau server, it produces a different output, e.g. smaller font, lines are shorter, etc. How can I avoid these? Thank you in advance!
@@user-re5uv2mm2h Not sure if this can entirely solve the problem you are facing, however, I still think the best way is to adjust and select the Dashboard sizes and your layout in the Dashboard view workspace before you publish it on Tableau Server. From the side bar, you can adjust the overall size of the dashboard. On Device preview, you can also unlock the Phone option and make adjustments into sizes for different formats or can keep it Default (which will keep the dashboard size same for all the formats, you can check that through Device Preview on Window). Fixing the size of the dashboard before publishing can help avoid problems related to formatting. However, small changes can be made even after publishing the dashboard through Edit option.
@@MeghaNarang Thank you so much! Noted on this. Anyway, I saw you on LinkedIn and watched some of your vids. Your fast revert is appreciated, I already liked and subscribed! Hope to learn more and you guide more Tableau users as well, stay safe always! :)
Hi, I have added the data in a separate excel sheet. Please try this link : docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rgGA-O9tA-T6gh5qQLQrBz27tRRCSqM0_Ir8whDDJow/edit#gid=0 Also, the original data set is available on makeovermonday week41 page. You can sign up on data.world to get data access (Link: data.world/makeovermonday/2020w41-data-assets-and-data-culture/workspace/file?filename=Book1.xlsx). Hope this helps. can you please explain the calculation you are using for beginner means the reason to create.
Very useful !
Glad you find it useful :)
please put video on call type of calculation and functions in one video, it will be helpful for us
How do i reverse the shape of the dendrogram to get the node on the right and list of industries on the left ?
very nice video
What If data is really huge would this union slow the processing, bcs I have been working on project where data is really really huge,
Union of the huge data can slow down the processing.
Nice sounding keyboard
What if I want to show only the top 10 values in the dendrogram, not all values? I tried to use a filter and a parameter but it didn't work
In this example, you can filter Industry sector to Top 10 (given in the Marks card)
It got confusing from 6:18 to 8 window.

it should not, did you try again?
Pertaining to the yellow background image in the first second of the video, is it a dashboard or a story?

The bars' horizontal length is same for every bar don't know why. Tried every possible thing to fix it.
The explanation on why the calculated fields is missing. Without this explanation, it is hard to re-apply this knowledge to other data sets
Missing calc field?
Maam pls explain, otherwise how would we understand every step?
Happy with the final output, though was very difficult to follow along
The background music is very annoying. consider reducing the volume next time
