Absolutely sublime 💎 Exquisite in every way 🌟 I have listened to this amazing voice for over 30 years and never get tired of it. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, if you will, at several CD signings back when Tower records was on Broadway in Lincoln Center. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
I have them because back in "ancient" times I recorded them on VCR. I was finally able to convert them to digital and upload, thanks to the gizmo I borrowed from my local library! 😁
Kathleen had problems with the Boston Symphony as well. She apparently developed an inflated ego that was self-destructive to her career. Marilyn Horne, who was perhaps the greatest voice in opera, was always a classy lady….and very considerate of her fellow musicians. Kathleen clearly wasn’t.

The entire met ensemble weared TShirts with "we survied the Battle" after she was fired. THAT means something. She was really really nasty
