A couple of these come to mind: 1. Nosferatu's shadow rising up the stairs 2. The ghost lady approaching in Kairo 3. The phone footage in Lake Mungo 4. The twins in The Shining 5. The murder in Benny's Video 6. Mia Goth's smile at the end of Pearl 7. The ending of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) 8. The alien on TV in Signs
The alien walking across the driveway in Signs was so shocking because it was broad daylight at a kid's birthday party. That was freaky as crap. Totally agree
I still get chills when that bloody ball bounces down the stairs in The Changeling. Another one that comes to mind is in "Plague of the Zombies". There's a scene where a young woman called Alice is dead. A couple of guys exhume her body from the Cemetery, as they open the coffin, they notice her skin changing/decomposing rapidly. then, there's a single beat on a drum during the creepy background music at the same time she opens her eyes (jump scare!) she sits up and the leering look on her face as she walks towards her boyfriend just adds to the "I just kacked me pants" moment. It still gets me every time like Gardner's head popping out of the sunken boat in "Jaws".

Really tho. Even though I was prepped that this is a horror movie. But that scene came. I was confused as if I was part of the crowd. And then she jumped, with the Very loud sound effect and the screams following. Yeah I was amongst the crowd, shocked and screaming internally. Still today I'm still a bit creeped out.
Both versions of house on haunted hill are some of my favorite movies. I also love all the conjuring movies. Being a fan of Ed and Lorraine since a teenager reading their books for 30 years I can't get enough of those movies. I was offended by Annabelle because she's a raggedy Ann doll not a porcelain doll
Kana Murakami in the original Ju-On, that scene will always stick with me. I remember watching it for the first time in the early 00s when I was just a teenager and each time I go back I'm impressed by how well the effects hold up even today. The Grudge did a reasonably decent job channeling that but I don't think it quite tops the original scene with this young girl coming home to her mother and the shock of the reveal when she turns around.
Laurie desperately screaming at the firefighters' truck, "no! oh no! let it burn! let it burn!" in the Halloween Kills teaser is still chilling as hell
One shot that truly sent a chill down my spine was when Grace turned the picture around in "The Others" which revealed the truth about the servants. Even though I pretty much figured it was the case, the moment was still truly hair raising to my surprise...likely due to Grace's realization.
I think the most chilling and horrifying shot i've watched has to be in Hereditary, when the mother is levitating and decapitating herself, the last shot in the treehouse is also worth metioning but the decapitation is far better because is so long that you can be as horrified as the son becuse you don't understand shit of what is happening
I forgot all these but what I can’t get out of my head is some of these TH-cam shorts. I saw a guys neck get broken forward while trying to dead lift and a baby lamb get eatten alive by like 3 tigers. This app is ligit scary.
I thought everyone hated Halloween 4. I really thought I was the only person who loved it. I wonder if there's anyone else who also thinks Friday the 13th Part 7 is the best one? Part 6 is the 2nd best.
Halloween 4 is the first successful revamp of the franchise, before H20. So you’re not the only one. Can’t help you with Friday the 13th, though. If I remember correctly, these weren’t very successful. And personally, I hated both, lol.
I think I'll never understand what people like about Conjuring. Maybe it's because I had seen countless horror movies before, maybe because I think that the real Warrens are charlatans and therefore didn't like them being portrayed as heroes, maybe it's because I didn't find any of the main characters particularly sympathetic, I don't know.
Can somebody help me out here with his explanation of Creep? I feel like Im going crazy. What hes describing looks like a prequel to what happens in Creep, so I thought he was mistaken, but then has actual clips that look like things that happen before the first movie's plot? Is there a prequel I dont know about?
He was describing the first Creep movie. There’s two of them. The first has the Aaron character, the second has a female documentary film maker (can’t remember her name).
No harvesting scene from Under the Skin? You guys just keep praising the most overrated, cheesy, and predictable things. None of this content comes from an actual horror fan. Just someone mass producing the same content
I don't know why but this video was presented in a way that was a little too... clunky? Disjointed? It was difficult for me to actually comprehend what was being said and I had to watch each segment a couple of times.
Found footage movies aren't scary like WTF is wrong with people. Especially that boring POS Blair Witch Project and paranormal activity or conjuring movies. I swear you are the same kind of people an owl hooting would scare
I agree found footage usually sucks. I think the reason some people like the Creep one though is simple. No supernatural elements or monsters. Making it feel, real. Like an actual snuff film almost. Never saw it myself though since usually cannot handle found footage. You know the character/characters are dead already or else it won't be FOUND FOOTAGE. And knowing the end ruins it. The only one I like, was Troll Hunter. And that one felt more like a dark fantasy than horror.
I personally don't understand the found footage movies being so popular. The camera josling around makes me angry. Too hard to watch and focus. I don't like any of them.
And there are quite a few of them that I want to watch, but after a while, I can't stand the jumping around and have to turn it off. One , I think, is of two or three friends hiking in the snow and are being hunted. I can't think of the name because I didn't watch the whole movie because of the camera work. Good for what I saw though.
A couple of these come to mind:

They come to mind because they’re way better than this list. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t shove in Scream for the millionth time.
Just a couple...smile

Oh Dae Su´s face at the end of Oldboy
Ghost ship opening 🚢👻?
I know! I was not expecting that. It was wild.
Overrated
I think that was in the first video?
Yes the scream gave me the chills for a while😰
@@user-lb9xw4xf2q It was definitely in the 1st video. I think it was the 1st one on it
For me, in Creep, the scariest shot was Aaron coming down the stairs to see him blocking the door, frozen, with the mask on.

OMG my film THE STYLIST at number 1!! I am so flattered- THANK YOU! ♥ Claire's Big Day ♥
It’s one of my favorite movies from the last few years. Great film
The Changeling is one of my favorite haunted house movies.

I've met the director of the Stylist and she's amazing. She was really cool and it was such a good film!!

The fact "Perrón" means "really awesome" or "really big dog" in Mexican Spanish never fails to make me jiggle.
In Carrie, something about Piper Laurie coming down the stairs with knife raised and creepy smile on her face always creeps me the f$ out!
That lady crawling under the house in The Visit 😂
Laurie desperately screaming at the firefighters' truck, "no! oh no! let it burn! let it burn!" in the Halloween Kills teaser is still chilling as hell
Thanks for the List and the Video 😀
"im coming for you Rachel... and this time... ill get you.."- Zelda
i always found that park scene pretty creepy in Ginger Snaps
The bouncing ball down the stairs from The Changeling sent veiwers squealing, and still do. And one of them was Stephen King.
Lol Bathsheba patiently sitting on top of the closet waiting for them to see her was hilarious.
The end of The Mist
The Changeling - ultimate horror movie followed closely by Ghost Story with the delightful Alice Krige.
Wow.

Speaking of Halloween, how about the horrifying deaths of the Kupfer family in Cochran's stage room
🥉
The "Change-a-ling"?? 😂
Micheal myers' body dissapears : end of the original Halloween.
You guys need to check more horror movies. It's the same movies over and over and over again.
What no Xenomorph or Art the Clown?
Is it me or are the WC Horror episodes endings just kinda cut short lately

The Stylist was so good.
Are you referencing a song from the 60's with that rubber ball shtick
So happy you put The Stylist at number one. Absolutely brilliant film with one hell of an ending.
Now I wish i had just heard the name of the movie and ran. I was genuinely interested bu now I know how it ends.

The only one that did something was that scene in 'the Conjuring'

I love every single Conjuring universe film ❤ They're SOOO good.
Andrew, I don't believe you're old enough to know the tune that goes with the "Rubber Ball" lyrics. Was Google your accomplice?
How disappointing it would be if a group of vampires were called a “flock”.
Changeling is Jolies movie not The Changeling should be no confusion at all.
Constant conjunction
George C Scott had less luck with a ball in his oscar winning motion picture Man Getting Hit by Football.
When Evil Lurks, holy f* that was intense!
The dog attack and THAT scene with the mother carrying her child.....woooowww!
