HOW TO RESET OIL LIFE LIGHT CADILLAC ATS

1 Turn ignition on by pressing start button and hold it for few seconds, but do not step on brake pedal at the same time, if you do the engine will start and you cannot reset the oil life.
2 Make sure all the lights do come on after that, check engine, abs, brake and so.
3 Steep on gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. (All the way down and up)
4 Turn ignition off and restart the engine. The message should go off for OIL LIFE

It can also be reset by selecting the oil life percentage on the dashboard and pressing and holding the sel button on steering wheel for about 10 seconds. Much easier than pressing the gas 3 times.

This is incorrect. Some models do not have the percentage feature that you claim is easier than a foot movement three times.
