And that's not me ripping on them, its a fact.
Just pointing out, I like AD, but it's not perfect. Lol
It's crazy to thing that American dad has aged for better than family guy
Also more tolerable and consistent with the comedy.
Not really crazy. American Dad was always the superior show. Family Guy has its moments, but not comparable to AD.

First Family Guy got rid of Diane Simmons, then American Dad got rid of Terry without even killing him off. What’s up with that?
That was so long ago. Terry and greg divorced and one left the other stayed
Mike Barker had left when the show moved to TBS so they had no choice but to remove the characters he played as so Terry left Greg for a band while Sanders got killed off.

But there all very right leaning obviously ironic jokes . It’s different then family guy because they try to add commentary (that never lands) but sense we know stan is a huge republican it fits his character when he says dumb shit

The Steve plot was great but the giraffe plot was so boring and lame with an unsatisfying finish same with the underwhelming Stan getting beat up because of Francine keeps mouthing off. Like the man is a John Wick, remember TBS writers you're handling Stan Smith NOT Jerry Smith.
