Lot of the differences between England and Finland might simply be due to the fact that London (which you are using alot to compare the two) has a population of nearly 9 million, whereas the total population of the whole country of Finland is 5,5 million 😊
With almost double the amount of people in just one city You will inevitably have more services available, diversity and choices.
Adding the fact that Finland is approximately 39% bigger than the whole of the UK and you'll have a very good explanation for the population density and all the space in Finland.

Yes, one should keep in mind that London has a population of 9,6 million whereas the population of Helsinki is about 650 000.
