Even just his "Hello" at the very start, is funnier than most comedians complete set!

Stop saying he doesn't have new jokes, go and pay to see him. There is plenty of new material and I'm sure it takes some time also make new material and test them etc. This is just a free material for us so stop complaining.

This the fault of TH-cam. People who wont pay to see a comedian watch the clips on TH-cam, usually the same clips uploaded by several different people. Go see his show, I did and hes got loads of material and its plenty funny!😂

Ismo is so funny and clever and endearing. I l saw him for the first time tonight and was really taken with his comedy. He sort of reminds me of Andy Kaufman, a comic genius who died many years ago of lung cancer. Ismo has the same sense of irony and brilliance.
Please, stop insulting Ismo with that stupid comparison...

Of course these are repeated to different audience - and not aimed to youtube where people can say exactly this "where da new jokes at?" 😄 I mean come on, he is genious! New material?? I saw Steve Martin live when he was doing standup. Even though I had seen it before had he not done the wild and crazy guy, King Tut, arrow through the head and bunny ears to name a few I would have been so disappointed. Seeing it live is like seeing and hearing it for the first time....lighten up people Ismo is funny...the end.

Or Polish. I went to Gdansk, lived in a district called Wrzeszcz. Try to say that to a taxi driver. As a Finn, I tend to want to pronounce every letter, but it's just impossible with all these consonants.

Oh but we DO have silent letters in Finnish language, like "å"! It is in fact so silent that we never use it.
And q and x and z, if we take that approach. X & Z do come in math, but the language doesn't need them. They are used in some words, mainly names, but they just give more like a style effect. Recent loans still used them, like pizza - but we could spell it pitsa. And the sh in shampoo we now use breaks the Finnish alphabet rule: One sound, one letter. And in someplaces it's not even the same sound: like mieshän, etc.

At first I thought this would be the exact same 2014 laugh factory routine, but then he starts telling that New Zeeland imported food joke, which was clearly just for that gig. But it should be no surprise that comedians have certain "go-to" jokes.
I have never heard him tell the same jokes in a live show it's weird that you can find only the same ones in youtube...

The funny thing is that when Ismo talks about unnecessary letters in the English language that shouldn't be there because they're not pronounced, I think of the Finnish language and how there are so many repetitive letters that are not necessary... like, way too many repetitive letters! This is the longest combination word in the Finnish language: lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas. Just imagine how much shorter it could have been if repetitive letters were taken out!
I'm a bit late to the party, but I will respond anyway in case someone is wondering. Repeated letters carry meaning in Finnish and can't be removed. When you see two same letters next to each other, it is pronounced as a longer version of that letter.
Here's an example how you can change the meaning of a word by just changing the length of letters/sounds:
tuli=fire
tulli=customs
tuuli=wind
Repeat letters are essential in Finnish! They actually change the entire word's meaning AND pronunciation.

Hello, I've watched all your (FREE) videos on your channel and heard all the jokes(for FREE). And now you got to New Zealand and tell the same jokes to people who haven't heard the jokes before and enjoyed the show? Yes, I am very disappointed.

Here's a Finnish woman who's a little disappointed. I've seen the guy live doing his stand up like three times and he's usually extremely funny, a little awkward but he doesn't let his nerves get to him. Here he is really nervous and using the same material I've heard before.. Im sure he could come up with something new. Idk, something about the vibe. He's not really the same Ismo.

Get more material as time goes on. My mother left Finland (close to Ismo’s native city Jyväskylä) over 50 years ago. It’s hard. Despite it being quite “western”, Finland is also unique. The language and aspects of the culture - being claimed by either Sweden or Russia for hundreds of years! So.... hyvää Ismo 🦋
@@nicolemilman1795 He is funny but he's also known for "playing it safe", same material, different year. He could come up with more jokes idk. Maybe it's laziness or just a part of his personality. It's quite frustrating when you're aware of the fact that he has a lot of potential.

This Africa was a little over board , and tied to starvation, and it is still real, to imagine a scene of him going to Africa and a starving child looking at him to complain ismo has become overweight , to which he replies i did for you is blatantly sick....he could have avoided this joke .
As an African in Africa I found that funny
