In these contexts adding ass generally means the thing is terrible. Bad ass does not reverse the meaning, it doesn't mean good. Bad ass means an asshole so bad they're intimidating, frightening or they make a lot of trouble. A smart ass has their brains in their ass. A dumb ass has their brains in their ass and they aren't very bright. Move your ass refers to the fact your ass is what moves your legs and thus moves you forward. So move your ass could also be said move your legs which is also a thing people say. My ass does not mean no. It means bullsih!, or human poo as it were. But the latter would be weird to say, so we instead refer to where it comes from. Etc, etc, you get the gist. That he's getting them wrong in such a naive and quirky way is part of the joke.

This bit is a masster-class in comedy. The content is fairly timeless, and you technically limit yourself to one swear word (and it's not even on Carlin's list); a good sign that it still works is that every utterance of "ass" is even funnier. The character works incredibly fluidly - the curious and befuddled English learner stammers along, seemingly in confusion - but it is, of course, fully deliberate - this lends itself to a great bait-and-switch at 6:16 ("I had to pull something out of my... hat!"). Words are sometimes pronounced unclearly, but never when they're new and important - so it serves the character without hurting the clarity of the bit. Delightful to watch and rewatch!

The differences between upper-intermediate, advanced and native levels are massive. Unless you grow up in the country until you're well into your teens you'll never reach true native level. Fins have very good English generally. Ismo is advanced and enjoying exploring the nitty-gritty of native level English, but he'll never reach true native level. Adults who go to spend 10 years or even 40 in another country and say they've reached native level are talking out of their... ass.
