I can’t focus on the long run when I should be retiring in 3years, you see I’ve got good companies in my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profit has been stalling, does it mean this recession/unstable market doesn’t provide any calculated risk opportunities to make profit?
I agree, my profit has been consistent no matter the market situation, I got into the market early 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me so I sold off, got back in Dec 2020 this time with guidance from an investment adviser that was recommended by a popular economist on a subreddit, long story short, its been 2years now and I’ve gained over $850k following guidance from my investment adviser.

Given that we are not accustomed to such uncertain markets, the fact that the US stock market has been on its longest bull run ever makes the widespread anxiety and excitement comprehensible. There are opportunities if you know where to go, as you noted that it wasn't difficult for me to earn more than $780k in the previous 10 months. Since I was aware that I would need a reliable and strong plan to get through these tough times, I engaged a portfolio advisor.
I bought 236 shares at 156 a month ago! Just sold at 216 on friday! Easy money! My advice to u guys : don't over confident and fanatic about tesla! Just take the profit and leave! Come back when stock price go down reasonably to buy!
Lot more catalysts this year : 1- new twitter CEO taking over within weeks,2- starting the production and delivery of cybertruck by Q3 orQ4 at the latest ,3- Berlin and Austin ramping up almost into full capacity by end of the year and increasing weekly production ,4- Fed pauses rates hikes by end of this year which will be catalyst for whole market not only tesla , 5- the announcement of the new cheaper model which Elon briefly talked about it last investor meeting last week
Priced in and more. Any deviation in 50% compounding growth in revenue and earnings story and the stock will tank. Looks like they're well on track to miss 50% for the second year in a row now. Unit volume growth is meaningless without corresponding earnings growth. Earnings are contracting now not growing. Bad news.
@@user-ow1bn6qv8q You should go short.. Do a video too.. Model 3s now are cheaper than ever.. China is spitting out more and more cars.. EVs will be 69% of the cars sold in 2030.. Good luck in the soup line..
Me too. Congrats. I was seriously considering selling after it hit $400 (1200 pre-split) just for the purpose of buying a spread of GM puts with a looming macro disaster. Would have sold at 350 if I'd jumped on it, and the gm puts would have done nicely, but by the time I got around to researching it, the killer timing seemed to have passed. Once again considering it. The motivation is to hedge against recession. TSLA has a great future, and GM has a crappy future, but everything drops in a recession. So in this case, put contracts would actually reduce risk.

That doesn’t really make sense though, they have high demand at the moment for their model Y, people are clearly ok with paying that amount of money for a car. Model Y is now the most sold vehicle with very high profit margins. And it’s a great family car, more practical than the model 3, there is no big incentive right now to make a very cheap, even smaller vehicle. What will make Tesla go to the moon? Very good concise explanation of good reasons to consider Tesla stock. One small correction: Ford agreed access to half of Tesla superchargers, not all.
So will it really matter in the end, because if they adopt the North American charging standard plug, everyone will pretty much have access to the Supercharger Network don’t cha think?
Jato Dynamics - Europe: march23 Model Y first place; apr23 17th place (first place is Dacia Sandero a 12k ICE car made in Romania !?!). Every Tesla model drops like a rock in Q2 as competition grows fast.
Looking at Tesla end of year historical stock prices. End of 2020 the stock price was $705.67. It had jumped 10x from 2019 price of $83.67. What was the catalyst for that?

You should risk some and buy some pre IPO Aptera, everyone wants a “cheaper $20,000 dollar Tesla” and aptera is currently making it. A $26,000 no charge vehicle is the $20,000 dollar tesla. They have alot of same ethos as tesla believing that the factories are the product etc, very similar ideology. You definitely don’t get the benefits of multi technology company of tesla but you do get a new car company focused on changing the paradigm of a commuter vehicle, could be a flop but if not this thing could be as popular as a model y.
Been watching your videos for awhile now. From your previous videos, you bought in Oct 2022 at $245 and again in Feb 2023 at $188. Think you missed the whole opportunity to load up when it was in the low $100’s in Dec-Jan23, and even in the recent $160 level too. Looking at your average price and time of entries, you seems to only buy when the stock is heading up. Buying a good company is not enough, you need to buy it at the right time too. If you’re so convicted about buying this company at $300+, shouldn’t the same company at the low $100s be a steal?
Have been buying TSLA stock periodically every few months. I believe no one can truly predict short-term prices, and time in market beats timing the market. All the best!
Dollar cost averaging likely will not matter a whole lot long term. Look at Stephen Mark Ryan he has bought Tesla Stock for over 7 years whenever he has the funds. All of his long term holdings are currently up 10X plus
I would rather buy a pure play AI stock like PLTR which could 25X its current stock price in 10 years then buying TSLA that has run up so many multiples off its all time lows (pre-split) already moving forward.
Why diversify when the conviction in one or two companies is incredibly high. All factors point to Tesla being a multi trillion dollar company in the next 10-15 years, better to buy as much of that now that spread your money thin in the hope that one or more of your portfolio will shoot to the moon.
