I love what you created using the prompts, it has a very natural look using red, orange and green because they are not bam, in your face! You have very interesting ideas and do layers so beautifully!💕🇨🇦
I just removed hundreds of really thin old book pages from a vintage book. They were so fragile I didn’t know what to do with them? Now I’m inspired!!!!!
Once again, I'm amazed at your artistry, Luise. There is grunge, and then there is organized grunge. When you do grunge, you can make it look beautiful. It's not just random, ugly grunge. It's organized into something with a purpose and a focus. That's what makes it truly an art form. I love it so much. I can only hope to make my own grunge as lovely as yours.
I’m so inspired by this stunning creation Luise, that I’m thinking of bringing my sewing machine up to my craft room after not even using it for a couple of decades. This page is completely gorgeous. For a girl who doesn’t care for colour, you use it masterfully. 🤗🇨🇦🤗 Liz
Auch wenn ich diese Abbildung von dem kleinen eingebildeten Milchbubi gar nicht mag, muss ich doch sagen Dein Werk ist crazy und genial. Da kann ich nur ein "Daumen-hoch" geben.😚 LG Petra
Gorgeous ❣❣❣❣ I can't write much I'm running to my bucket of old book pages in the back of the closet....I have lots of things to make!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
This is such an amazingly beautiful thing you have created! I love it. It has so much texture and dimension. It looks like a hole opened up in your page and looks so cool! Thank you for sharing!
I love this. It looks like a tunnel of tree branches. The boy fairy and the mushrooms reminds me of Grimms fairy stories. The oxide inks look great together. I will definitely try this in my "In a Thousand Voices" journal.
This is similar to free motion quilting. If you lower the feed dogs on your machine, you can use both hands to freely move the paper around under the needle without a special foot. I love your to watch your creative process. Thank you!
The bottom teeth that pull the fabric along are called "feed dogs" in English. Most newer machines have a lever that allows you to drop the feed dogs and move your fabric, (or paper) around with your hands. I absolutely love that Gothic looking font on your pages. Beautiful! Love how this turned out!
Oh my goodness!!! This is so amazing!!! A cool autumn vide for sure. I must give this a try. Thanks for the inspiration with all the different options.
The fancy tool is called a free motion foot . You can also do it by dropping g the feed dogs ( the teeth at the bottom that feed your fabric or pages through, most machines have a button somewhere that drops them down.
Just love this concept. What a great way to do tattered roses, bird nests and other stuff. Fabulous!
Just fabulous, Luise! Love, love, love it! Thanks again for all your work on organizing this wonderful collaboration! ❤️
