Train Simulator | Early 'HIGH & WIDE' Flat car PACK |

Another standalone rolling stock pack, seemingly to be the first of many in the series - for Train Simulator Classic by 3rd party devs 'Machine Rail'
This pack is set to the '30s era when these cars were built for special purpose and used decades on.
Two variants are included, a civilian version as well as Army transport with numerous loads and usable assets to boot

On one hand, its awesome to FINALLY see some new rolling stock, after a decade of nothing. On the other hand, its only one item with multiple loads, it do be a bit pricey.

The bombs definitely aren't the RAF's Tallboy (12,000lb) or Grand Slam (22,000lb), which were much more streamlined. I think superdave6889 is right with Little Boy, the Hiroshima bomb. The guns look to be 75mm M1897, ie US built French 75mms from late WWI. They were still in use during WWII, but most had been converted to a more modern carriage with a split trail and rubber-tired road wheels by 1940. A bunch of the un-modernised ones were en-route to the Phillipines in December 1941.

Tallboy was the RAF's conventional 12,000lb bomb, Hiroshima was Little Boy (which this does look like).

Maybe because this is the 40's and i'm assuming that the sherman tanks in the scene it's world war 2.....
