So an infinite line of birds is scary, but a 4.000m long train with two jet engines stuck to either side is o.k. THAT is banter.
Probably the most interesting use of the HST ever.
anything besides basic career driving or traditional route traveling is more interesting than anything else in a train simulator let's play

When your trying to get to work and your supposed to be there at am 7:00 but you have to wait till the jet. Train finished crossing the track you will be there at 6:00pm

Why does a Jet Train have wheel slip, the jet on the back gives the most propulsion in the vehicle.

I counted 20 HSTs witch is 140 Mk3s, 40 power cars and 2 jet trains witch is 182 coaches

Don't you just hate when you are minding your own business, watching a train pass, and a damn wall just hast to pop in where you are standing and ruin your day.
Did have an idea. Make a custom skin with a picture of you laptop on the first car, then a low frame rate car, 2d sprite car, low graphic settings car, and whatever else you can think of. Then hook it up to the jet train and rocket it along the get train rout, and right off the cliff!
Wheel slip with a jet engine? Seems legit
a easy way to count them is count how many coaches is in one set and then times it by how many other sets they are and plus it by 2 (because of the jet trains)

How did you manage to add all of the hsts behind the jettrain without getting a dump error, cause my specs exceed yours and after 2 mins in the consist manager I get the dump error
crashes in the consist editor are usually caused by a piece of freeware or third party stock that the game, for some reason, isn't agreeing with. As for making this actually run, I specifically picked older routes which would be less resource intensive.
That's pretty much the length of a lot of American freight trains.

I bought it, I wouldn't know the first thing about building a PC. Also, as I bought it in 2015, there are much better PC specs available now, just look around online.

Random idea:
A train of 100 jet trains.
I don't think that would be possible as the coupler is only located at the rear and not the traditional front and rear coupler.
what route pack is this?
each HST set has 7 Mk3 cars ,so there should be 126 cars i think.
rail devil 2 1st class coaches, 1 buffet, 4 normal coaches and a guard coach = 8+2 powercars, some HST's have 7, but this one has 8.
You should try the jet train on the ecml

of course, but reverse thrust doesn't work without the engine cowling in place!
You can hardly complain about the lack of realism in this video imo, just go with it :P
Not a complaint, just an observation.
The jet train works like a regular locomotive in this game. It's not supposed to be realistic, it's just a bit of fun. Yes, it's based on rocket sleds, which do exist, but there's nothing like the jet train in real life.
